Why is it that you could be walking through the mall or on the beach and if someone doesnt like something about you they feel the need to blurt it out? Dont they realize how ignorant they look?

I think people use the fact that they are in a hurried state as an excuse to be rude to others. I also think that the people doing that are the ones who feel powerless, and thus try to regain power by asserting it over others. I realize that I sometimes do it in traffic, and have to remind myself that maybe the person cutting me off is in the middle of a crisis and has to be somewhere. Helps me keep perspective and not turn into a rude mall rat.

I don't know where you hang out but wherever it is I would move if I were you. I have NEVER come across that and I like to think I am well traveled. Hard to believe....'they feel the need to blurt it out'......I have never experienced this. Strange looks, laughs , smiles, down-right blanking but this? Where is it that you experienced this? Or maybe I should ask what age range is this? I keep making the mistake that everybody on this site is over 11 ....

To have the upper hand, control over the situation, to prevent from getting hurt or taken. They have a chip on their shoulder, or an I'll get you before you get me attitude. Or they just want to make someone look and feel bad. I've had many be rude to me, just get use to it, some can only be happy when they are rude to others.

The best thing to do is ignore it, because if you don't you will be fighting the world. We are rude people. Some say things because they feel they have to, other, because they can get away with it. You are the mature one, so over look it .

Oh man...just about everyone in my town is like that. Especially the guys that loiter the stores. When they see a girl walk buy(whether they're fat,skinny,old,young, teen,underage,short,tall), they say some stupid a** sh*t like "hey baby" or make stupid kissing noises. The funny part is that when i'm with a guy, they turn into p*ssys and do'nt say sh*t.

Maybe you are the one that looks ignorant as I have not experienced that occuring to me.
Some people go to extremes to mutilate their bodies or be totally out of step with accepted society and intrude upon others rights. (Too loud ghetto blasters, smokers and dopers, obscene wear etc.) Take a look at yourself and identify why you seem to be getting the attention.

People are not naturally born good. They have to be taught to be kind and respectful and sadly individuals like that have no true morals in life. They have to say aweful things about others to exalt themselves higher to feel better about themselves. It is sad but it is reality and unfortunetly it will always be that way. God bless!

The majority of the time people are rude to feel better about themselves. So, it has nothing to do with you, it has to do with them. Just remember that and next time some one is rude or whatever you should realize it is because they are unhappy with themselves.

They are probably just jealous of you, otherwise, they wouldn't bother pestering you in the first place. A lot of people are rude and mean because they are insecure and doing stuff like that is their way of proving to other people (and perhaps themselves) otherwise. While other people just find amusement in other peoples insecurities.

I know. On tv there was this boy who got hit by a train and it severed both legs and one arm from his body. Now he has all prostetics except 4 1 arm
