I know it seems a dumb question on the face of it, but think about it and explore the drivers behind your gut reaction. Equally, it doesn't have to be a positive reaction.

Let's face it, reality sucks. I mean look around; government these days is literally comprised of a bunch of murderers stealing life under the guise of "Terrorists are going to get you." Husbands and wives cheating on entire families. Public school systems spewing anti-God messages. Blacks acting as if they don't have a chance. America no longer has a border.

REALITY SUCKS.

I am seriously thinking about INTENTIONALLY making myself delusional. I am thinking about supporting George Bush and having an affair with the next woman I come into contact with. I mean, WHY NOT? The whole freaking world has gone crazy.

Morals are meaningless and even though I've not been the best person in recorded time, I certainly do not fit in this time in history. I must therefore CHEAT REALITY by ignoring it, before it KILLS ME.

Thoughts?

I live in a small market town in Scotland....I have lived here for 10 years now. Can't seem to get out of the place. The town is clean and well cared for but the people are so bloody ignorant. If you walk down the street they feel that it is their right to shout abuse at you or make personal comments. I have to say it has never happened to me because I would turn on them but my son and daughter can't go out without someone starting on them.

Millions of children are not covered by any kind of insurance. If they become sick they are on their own. Why do conservatives seem to care more about the unborn and the un implanted( frozen embryos) than about those already here who need our help? Is it because there is no price tag attached to being pro-life? Why not be pro-life in respect to those who are dying without adequate health care?

Is the Star Jones marriage to Al Reynolds over? A local radio personality made that announcement on his show this afternoon here in Atlanta.

Argument from Israel: We attack Hesbola to rid the terrorist who do not follow laws and attack us. We were minding our own business away from the border of Lebenon. And killing our soldiers do have consequences, not proportional but overwhelming force so that you will be taught a lesson not to attack again or face stark consequences, death. Hesbola argues that Israel deserve to be attacked for holding prisoners and don't deserve to have any land. No land, no peace. So who is correct. I say "Kill the terrorst" that is Hesbola and Hamass. Israel should not stop until the deed is done, deed = hesbola's death and extension.

In the work place caucation will work with black, because it is necessary to carry on business. After work, the circumstances allows one to be more free to do as he please, and there is no "corporate behavior" restrictions that control behavior. What happens after work is that caucation will hang with his buddies, other caucations. Even though caucations will never admit it, but they do look at people based on color. Because someone is another color, caucation will have less reason and interest to introduce themselves with the motivation of making friends with someone that is considered outside their social circle based on race. I have seen it very often as a colored person, because it happens everyday in my perception. It may not occur to caucations that they do this, they see no problem, because they do not have to carry on each day having to interact with someone outside of their "white" race. But we do, we have to cross that color line to interact with them.

I always hear from white people, "I eat lunch with white people because it is just that we are like each other, we have the same social circles and raise that way." What they are blind to see is that, white people is unaware that colored people have to deal with all the whities at work, because you just can't avoid them everywhere, but that white people don't have to socialize with colored because whities are everywhere, so whitie is born and raised never having a need to deal with colored people. Hence, they don't need to, and have a "fear" and "us" vs. "them" mentality which does transfer over to who will get promoted. People of like compatibility is helped, those percieve not, does not. So whitie is racist, regardless of their denial. Just ask yourself, the workplace is mixed, but whitie will not ask blackie to go drink after work. Whitie will only talk to colored if they need something from them in some practicle and convenient way, including its about money.

I work with this guy at a steakhouse and he is my age and the nicest most caring guy I have ever met. He is always helping me out and when we see eachother our eyes just "click" and "lock" for about 5 seconds. I just melt when I see him. He will touch my shoulder a lot and joke around even with the language barrier. He is learning English and I am learning Spanish so we can communicate some, and it will only get better once we learn more. I am afraid because I am really falling hard for this guy and I am worried I'll only end up hurt in the end because I feel that this hurdle is too big and this could never work out. First of all do you think he is interested in me? Also, my family thinks I'm being naive and silly to like this guy, and my friends think I should go for it. What do y'all think having an unbiased opinion?? I want to just let this go and forget about it but our connection is just insane and he's really unforgettable. Should I pursue this or get over it? Thanks GB!
