almost everything in the world today whether its individuals at war with their neighbours, larger groups, religions or countries, there seems to be more and more hate and less and less tolerance and understanding... why do you think this has happened?

I believe that most of us are noticing that most of American movies these days are containing very bad words such as F..k and Mother F…k.r where it creates an embarrassing situation if the family around.

I'm starting to lose faith in humanity when people will sue at the drop of a hat for things we would never have looked twice at in previous decades.

What can be done to stop a society with dollar signs for eyes, before they sue themselves into extinction?

Do i address it like a normal american, in english, and then somehow it magically makes it to my russian friends mailbox? or do i have to have her tell me how to write in russian? but then the post office won't understand it. And i know i gotta put more stamps than normal on it too. Anyone know how this would work?

My friend Elvira is sending me a letter from there just like an American would write on the envelope.

I used to swear a lot, but I cut back for several reasons. What inspired me to that is when I heard this guy talking and literally every other word out of his mouth were f &sh bombs. It just sounded incredibly unintelligent, immature and vulgar. I thought, "wow is that what I sound like when I swear?" It's harder to realize how one sounds when they're the one talking. Now I just use an occasional hell d*mn or a*s and on very rare extreme occasions a couple of strong bombs. Also, when people overuse them, we get desensitized. And to top it off, the words lose their power. Swear words are used to emphasize emotion or an extreme situation, so when people overuse them they lose their meaning. It also takes the fun out of them ;-) And kids should not be swearing, ever. That's just wrong. South Park isn't real life.

Don't want to forget about the ladies who don't mind a little fisticuffs either. We are obviously desensitized to violence and approaching the ancient Roman's thirst for bloodiness. But what drives us to the point of craving to see or participate in violent behavior?

Yahoo! Answers is testing a theory that us, Yahoo! Answerers, outperform computers when it comes to solving complex human problems. All the Yahoo! Save the Planet questions are being processed to determine whether or not real solutions can be derrived by all of our ramblings. At any rate, I'm composing a term paper for my grad school organizational management course, 15 pages and due Sunday, and I want to work this theory into my paper. If you have any info, theory names, links, anything that I could read about how communities of blabberers are efficient at solving complex problems, it would be much appreciated! Thanks, Allen.
