There is a number of reasons that people hate each other, Religion plays a big part, Money, having to much, or not having enough. Jealousy, Health, Looks, Greed, Power over others, Job, even being educated, going to a better school, having more friends, and the list goes on.
This should shame us all because at sometime in our lives each and everyone of us feels this way about someone else, but we won't stop it, it will continue until we learn to live in peace with each other.
Stop believing what we read in books, the world being run on a fairer way, all earn the same money, all have the same benefits in live, we need to learn to love again, not just each other, but everyone. but i don't think this will happen for many years, because ewe don't trust anymore, we have little faith in ourselves, and we let others run our lives.
Love & Peace

the world needs drama, we are not creatures of peace and tranquility. As technology gets better you will notice more problems, the better a microscope gets the more blemishes you will find, the farther you can hear the more you will snoop, the faster your engine the more you want to use it. I don't think problems have increased i just think you hear more about them, looking back at history things are the same or aren't that bad...yet (world war, war, slavery, famine, religious persecution, poverty, balance of power, tyrants, internment camps, death camps) ask the people who have been through those things how the world is right now.

Good question... for me i think is easier to hate than love , because we all seam to look for the bad things in people that is a sad fact , but most of us keep others " at arms length " as this is easy .
Loving people is hard cos you don't know when you will get hurt.
One day ( i hope ) we can all live as one and not think that one race is better than the other...but i cant see that happen for many ..many years

I think that hate is pure anger at things or something that one wish to have but one does not have, how one wish to be but one is not. Those who hate, they do so because they are not happy with themselves, or their way of living and they blame these on either society as a whole or the way society handle their situations.
Inequality in life and society is a contributing factor to hatred in the world today.

People do not take the time to understand each other, to try to care about each other. There is too much of an "I am right, you are wrong" attitude in the world.

I wish I knew! Try listening to the song People are People by Depeche Mode and it asks the same thing pretty much.

coz we are not satisfied with what we have. we always want what the other person has. we eye their things, and wonder why is it that they have it and we dont.
we also hate each other coz we all have different belief and value systems and we all believe that our way of thinkin is the only right one.
we hate each other coz we are programmed to hate each other.

Too much affluence. If they were spending their time digging a living out of the dirt, they would not have so much to worry about.
