I am a paid chef and an amatuer musician. I love music but being a chef pays the bills. Now the word passion is quite subjective. I resently had a similar discussion. By the end of the discuss I equated passion to money. To work at minimum wage at a job you love is okay but will only last so long until you realize you are being used and not compensated for extra work you're willing to do because it's your passion. At which point your passion turns to anger. Now to work at a job that adequately pays you for your service and has incentives that help motivate your passions then great (but few and far between). Or you're just being paid a tremendous amount of money, whichever. Passion becomes the money. There are exemptions to every rule. The previous person mentioned that he teaches - bonus - very good pay, 2 months off a year, limited hours work - exelent incentives to keep the job and maintain the passion. (nothing against teachers, I know it can be a tough job at times, I was one for a while)
