it's not that people think it's bad. it's ignorance. people (especially religious people for some funny reasons.) feel threatened by something new to them or some thing they truly don't know anything about. unless the person is affected in there own home, work, or social life. then they start to learn, and soon have more of an idea that gay people are normal people as well. eventually, "gay" will end up becoming a part of society and more accepted. i am straight with gay friends and i have to admit it was kinda weird to see two men or two women, but my parents whom i thank so much, showed me to never judge a person by life style, but by how they respect you. i guess i must feel this way because i stopped believing in god and chose to not label myself as a part of a religion or a group. i am just myself :)...

There are two kinds of ppl who think it's bad. Those who are grossed out by the sexual aspect of it and those who are Christians who also feel the same.
Well, I believe homosexuality is real, and I'm also a Christian who thinks it's wrong according to the Bible. Many ppl like to give levels to sin, and unfortunately there are no levels, sin is sin.
Many ppl just can't handle the thought so there opinions run rampant.

Because it makes no sense. Love is an emotion developed as a response to a physical need. Homosexuality is counter-productive, it serves no purpose.

Because it is unnatural, it isnt supported whether you believe in god/creationism (B/c in that case, God created man and woman, to be man with woman.) Its also not supported if you believe in evolution, b/c you cant reproduce as a homosexual. Its Unnatural.

because its basic human nature to be scared of anything that is different from what is generally considered as normal and its easier to resent someone or something which is different from oneself than be afraid of it
