Asked to be raped! I'm sorry but that is traumatizing (is that how you spell it?) for a 13 year old! Now I'm kinda scared of America and a little prejudiced about Americans ( I know you all aren't rapists just cause I met some creep that was but still...) how do you keep your self confidence up when you move to a new place and find that most of the people around you are smaller in both size and stature....I am a size 22 and most of the women here are between 4 to 10.....how can you keep that little nagging negative voice from bothering you and getting you down?

My family is planning on moving back to england after 28 years living in the United States. I'm thinking about joining them but after reading some posts regarding "yanks" I was wondering honestly how the average Brit feels about us. but I don't *get* the whole gay pride thing. I mean, I'm straight. I like men, whooooooptie doooo! Who cares! There is a lot more to me than who I like to flirt and mate with. If being gay doesn't matter, why make it such a big deal? Seems to me a lot of this is just being provocative and trying to make fundamentalists of all religious sects mad. It doesn't make me mad, I honestly don't give a sh*t if someone is gay anymore than I give a sh*t if someone is another race.

So do you care about it? I know I don't!!! I'm like "Congratulations!" lol TMFI. lol I don't drive around with a "married and proud" sticker on my car. lol

Ok, I'm an 18 year old female and next summer I'll be moving to Rome ( by myself) for a year to study and to work. I've researched the crime rates and found that they are very low and the only thing to really worry about is pick pockets. I told my mother all of this but she is still terrified I'll be stolen or something. I've tried to assure her that I'm going to use my common sense and not go out at night by myself, not get into cars with strange men, stay away from deserted ally ways, and that I'm going to stay in a crowd so it'll be less likely I'll get abducted but she's still paranoid. Any advice on what to say to her so she won't be pulling out her hair the whole time I'm gone?

I was recently looking through the yahoo pictures, and was very sadly disappointed when I saw tons of pix with "happy gay couples" smiling and having a so called "blast" at the gay pride parade. It sickened me to no end looking at them, but what really made me mad was, towards the end of the pictures they showed all these anti gay protestors. They didn't just show pictures of them standing there protesting, but they showed pictures of them being arrested and dragged away, and supposebly attacking photgraphers. See, the problem is, yahoo is portraying all anti gay people to be horrible, mean, attacking, heathens, meanwhile these gays, are portrayed as sweet, loving, wanting peace people.. Do you guys see a pattern here? It is terribly sad, and we wonder why are kids are all growing up warped......I am so very disappointed at yahoo for posting these decieving pix, and Georgia for even letting this disgusting parade take place........God Have Mercy On Us All!!!!
