Today I was helping my nephew on his paper route. It's a local town paper, He has to deliver to 58 homes twice a week. He has to put all the flyers and ads in each paper, along with the other sections like Arts and Business. For all that he only gets paid $28 a month.
I thought I would help him today. A rule is that the papers don't have to be put in the mail box. They can be put at the end of the driveway as long as the paper is tied together with an elastic and in a plastic bag incase of rain.
Well my nephew was delivering to a house and this lady came roaring out the door and scremead at him. She demanded that the paper be put in the mailbox. She screamed at him that she was going to call the paper place and demand that someone else deliver as he is "unproffesional, unmature and lazy". At that point I went over to the lady and gave her a piece of my mind. She was as nice as pie with me. Im 28.
So my question is, do you think adults take advantage of there authority with kids?

bank robbers don't have to stay away from banks for the rest of their life, drunk drivers eventually get their license back over time( as far as i know). If they served their time in prison, then they got their punishment. And, just because they live more than 4 blocks from a school won't make any difference whether they rape a child or not. seriously... I"m not trying to make light of it, but we should punish everyone the same way, whether its capital punishment for rapists, fine, lets get that, or 40 years in prison, fine, lets do that, but lets have the same punishment for all, not let some serve their time, and still be punished when they get out.

made parents afraid to discipline their children? And then when the children screw up, then society blames the parents. Isn't society just as much to blame? Most parents that I know do the best job that they can, but with sex and violence and drugs being so rampant and IN YOUR FACE, a parent can only do so much. Kids cannot even watch cartoons these days without seeing something that can be deemed as sexual and violent!!

Why am I asking this because I wanna know if anyone has ever had this horrable experience like I did.I was12 and I was at the Rec center.I went there to go swimimg,and this fat girl was in the pool who had gas.She messed around and poped out a big ol' green terd and it hit me on the side of my chin.I jumped in shock and my tounge hit the terd.Has anyone had the most horrable experince like this?

I live out in the country and im the only hispanic girl and people(not just saying people who arent hispanic) are always mean and hateful toward me. I'm am in no WAY shape or FORM racists against ANYONE!!!! I would love a person no matter what even if they hate me because of my background!

I've noticed that when a loved one (ie husband) tells a woman she is beautiful (or whatever) she doesn't believe him. But when a complete stranger does the same thing she completely believes this person

I am this way. Movies show this as well.

Why are people like this?

I don't know why I think what my husband says isn't true, and maybe someone can clear this up for me
