Whereas, other ethnic minorities, such as asians and people form an orinental background, do rather well. Is it because they take more notice of gangster rappers because they seee them as black role models?

My filipino BF is so protective of all his female friends. He says there's no reason to be ugly to them even if his contacts with them bother me so much. I am american. He talks to them on the phone, he goes to their house. He says they are just friends. He doesn't have any male friends at all. They are all female. Is this cultural? or is he just a big jerk?

If you and your best friend attended a party and your friend was irresponsible or careless and almost drank herself to the point where your friend could of died, would it change the way you saw your friend. Would you look down on your friend from that point on or think less of your friend?

I mean really love that person and not just lust after them. To really and trully know that person loves you to,but because of certain circumstances you know that you two coulod never be together. ( i.e. you are married also, he is married to your friend, age difference)

This is an awesome site. It gives information on various ways the earth can end, from supervolcanoes to nanotechnology to environmentally engineered plants to global warming. No, it's not a site about Revelations (although there is a piece on religious Armageddon on there).

Spend some time on the site - on the left, you'll see a list of various catastrophes. Don't skip the bottom part called "further reading" which talks about megatsunamis, Tunguska event and bird flu.

Note: If you are quite disturbed by things you have no control over, don't go to this site, LOL! I was quite upset for a few days over the description of how the world could become as "unhospitable" as Venus thanks to global warming! No, it's not a liberal site, either...it's just a possibilities site.

Tell me what scenario affects you most and WHY!

Its when a hot girl is riding her bike wearing work out shorts and she locks her bike up to a public rack and when she walks away, some guy would rush over and sniff the hot moist bicycle seat where she was just sitting....AKA..."Bicycle Seat Sniffers". Just wondering....

Okay, so I hear a lot of black people get offended by the term "black" and say they prefere the term "African American." Well, say there is a "black" guy, of whom people refere to him as African American, but he is Austrailian, neither American or African! Also, doesn't that phrase assume that all black people come from Africa, ignoring the native blacks from Haiti, Jamaica, Austrailia, and other places completely unrelated to Africa? Also, it assumes that all people from Africa are black, but there are plenty of white people from Africa who have said citizenship. (Dave Matthews Band.) Citezenship is another issue, as most black who live in America have no African citizenship, or haven't even been there. All in all, the phrase is completely busted. If you are offendedn by it, then you are ignorant. I am a white male, and I have yet to hear any black person refere to me as a German-American. Usually it is cracker or honky anyways.

What are your thoughts?
