I think it's cultural (for those of our generation) and a jerk! lol I happen to be part filpino, have many filipino friends and a filipino b/f. . . .
I dont know what it is about filipino guys, but alot of them have mostly "girl"-friends and are "more than friends" with @ least 1 or more of them. . .
Im not trying to sterotype, but that's just in my person experience. . .
Thing is. . .some guys befriend girls JUST to get in good with them, cuz it makes it easier to "make things happen", so keep that in mind. . . .
but if your b/f can't understand that your'e uncomfortable about all his "girl"-friends, than maybe he isnt worth your time

There are "jerks" to be found everywhere. Country of origin is NOT a reason for unreasonable behavior.
Hitler was Austrian, does that make all Austrian men white supremacist would be dictators?
No, it doesn't. Put things into perspective. Take a step back and look at your situation.
It doesn't sound as if you are happy. You dislike your man seeing other women, friends or whatever. Express this to him, but don't make him choose between the two. Men backed into a corner turn off their logic and behave in odd ways.
Be clear and calm, don't whine. Ask him why he won't take your feelings into consideration. Have you offered to accompany him when he goes to the females house? Does he seem receptive, or is that a "No-no"?
If he seems to separate his other friends from you, that MAY be cause for suspicion- not that he's fooling around, mind you, but that his feelings for you may not be as strong as he says they are.
Communication is the most important thing you need to develop here, so that you can both understand the thinking behind what is effecting your relationship in a negative way.

NO, this does not sound culteral at all. My husband is Filipino (born and raised in the USA)... and he is not like this. I would not allow this to happen anyways......but if I had no control over it, I would find myself a new man. There are plenty of other men in the sea.
No, this does not sound right at all. Even if it was cultural!

they are his friends and he's just probably staying in touch, saying hello and all, don't worry about it. i know i have a lot of (girl) friends too, but i just don't talk to them on the phone or go to their house without a good reason....actually i think that u should worry about it. I dunno what he's trying to do here, but all i can think of is..he could be just the city type who likes to be in touch with everyone because i live in the countryside in the US and i am not so much into phones plus everyone is so far away compare to living in the city where u have neighbors therefor explains the visitations he made and he prolly has a cellphone, which explains the calls, so yea, i think it could be just the city and the cell. i could be wrong and he might be just a weirdo. send me sumthin if u need anythin.
