Why is Dan Brown's book & movie on Da Vinci Code continuing to sell by the millions?

Now that numerous interviews with the real experts, TV documentaries and articles have shown that Brown's truth claims (he claims his research is accurate at the beginning of his book) is totally and outrageously untrue?

lets see...i woke up at 5:00am,made coffee,took a shower,went to work,did the work thing,got into an arguement with some idiot at mcdonalds (an illegal of coarse),went home,tanned,got some from the hubby,ate dinner from pizza hut,took a masive poop,and now i am asking this question!!!

Why not black?

I went to school with a guy who looked like a black dude. Everyone said he wasn't because he didn't decend from Africa. I want to know why is this...why do people think you have to have african decent to be black?? Is black just a descriptive word, like white? Not all white people are from Europe.

What do you remember about your prom?

I NEVER went to mine because it was (1) too formal, (2) WAAY too expensive, and (3) TOO DARN FAR AWAY!...

My son wants to go to his prom, but living here in San Bernardino County(California), I just told him "NO!" , because of what I went through back in '88(I went to a different high school back then)...

Am I crazy for banning him from prom because of this?...

Besides, he CAN'T dance(not even Paula Abdul can help him!)!...I can't afford the limo, and he's wearing jeans(which are STRICTLY banned here in town...

Help me by telling me your good and bad things about your prom experiences(NOTE: NO after-prom sex talk, OK???...)...
