Mythology & Folklore - January 2007

It seems to me that these two ways of expressing yourself are growing in popularity, and it seems more prevelant in younger people. Is it because it's not as strict as what some church/religion guidelines are? Do you turn blue in the face trying to convince people that you're NOT devil worshippers?

I myself have always loved the earth, and believe fully that the Native Americans were the only ones that had the best grasp about religion; worshipping the wind/trees/weather. BUT, as an avid hunter I'd probably get booted out of any organization I'd like to join. I would just like to understand a little bit better why these two ways of life are so popular and sought after. Thanks!

Is the fortune good only for a specific day as in the day you get it or on the day you open the cookie? Lets say I kept the cookie for a week before I opened it.

If the cookie read you will meet some one, or find a friend, or do something special?

I was having a laugh with my friends over this. Apparently we all thought we were the only ones that thought about this.
What would you do if you woke up one morning to discover zombies are taking over? Have you ever thought about this? Would you be willing to take out a friend or family member that is walking dead? What's your plan?

I had a dream in which there was a white unicorn with a very long, I mean, long horn. I recall looking at the aminal's head to ensure there was only one horn. The horn had a gold rim round where it began in the head. I don't recall what a unicorn stands for. Perhaps I could interpret the dream

Okay, my favorite author writes books about different types of shape shifters living together in a semi-peaceful coexistance.
Which brings me to my question.
If you could re-'morph' your body into any animal form, which animal would it be, and why would it be that animal?

or I run into them. The other day, I found an old picture of a co-worker and when I saw it I was wondering how they were doing at their job. Well, the next day, one of my co-workers told me that she ran into that person and they said to say hello to me. I was talking about a certain person and I receive a voice mail from that person the very next day. I am afraid to even think of anything negative because I fear that it can happen. I was sitting around with my family asking about a certain family member and I asked a specific question - when did they get married. Well, no sooner did I check my email and I recieved notice that they were having a party to celebrate their anniversay. I have not heard from this relative in years. My sister in law was here and she sort of freaked out becuase she thought that it was weird that I had just mentioned that and there was my answer! It has been happening more and more lately. Has anyone ever experienced this before & what can be done?

Especially since digital clocks came out sometime in the 1980's----I would look at the clock and it would be 11:11 or maybe 1:11. After quite a few times of this happening, I got kind of freaked out because it didn't seem like any old coinsidence anymore. It doesn't happen so much anymore, but did for years.
