They bring it to the king to decide and he says that he will break the object in two. One guy says that sounds good to him, but the other guy says that he couldn't bear to have the object broken and that he would rather it be given to the other guy than have it broken. So then the king knows that the object belongs to the guy who couldn't bear to have it broken.

I have heard that Truth is stranger than fiction, and now I know that is true. Has there been anything that is so hard to believe that your mind will barely accept it?

Just idle fun reflections on what is making news in Yahoo Headline News today: Yes... good food for thought while my vacation lasts overseas.

Ares: God of war
Hermes: God of athletics, shepherds, inventor of fire,
Zeus: the big man on the Olympian campus still commands
Apollo: God of the sun, art, and medicine, among others,
Athena: Goddess of wisdom. Her Dad is Zeus,
Aphrodite: Beauty, love, lust, and sex are her domains.
Poseidon: God of the sea.
Hades: God of the underworld
Artemis: Goddess of the hunt.
Hera: Goddess of marriage and birth and jealous wife of Zeus
Hephaestus: God of fire and forge. A tough guy, but got beat out in popularity by his Olympian colleagues.
Hestia: Lesser known goddess of the hearth.
***

My pick:

Ares - USA
Hermes-China
Zeus - USA
Apollo - Germany
Athena - England
Aphrodite - Brazil
Poseidon - Australia
Hades - Israel
Artemis - Nigeria
Hera - Russia
Hephaestus - Mexico
Hestia - Sweden

Your take?

like where does space end? and if it doesn't, how can someone possibly say that they KNOW that there is no living matter but on earth. That can't be possible...why...because it never ends!

if there is no God...then how do you explain how life is perfect? how do you possibly explain how every organ in your body works together to keep someone living. how perfectly the food chain works, and the cicle of life?

Dinsosaurs actually existed? doesnt it seem...well...far fetched that 100 foot giants actally roamed this same planet that we as people call home? Right where your sitting right now could have been an egg from a T-REX that was about the same size as you. Think Im crazy? Well think of it this way. If no one had ever found fossils of the enourmous beings, and someone told you that animals the size of 4 story buildings once lived here....you'd take them to the hospital...am i not right?

What was before the dinosaurs? can we even dig that far down?

im not crazy!lol

It is said that the land, after natural disasters and erosion
destroyed it, caused the people to migrate to Easter Island
and the Indus Valley.
The giant heads on Easter Island are supposed to be a memorial to Lemuria. And I learned there are 5 lost languauges they cannot
read yet. Two of them are almost identical. And one comes from
Easter Island, and the other the Indus Valley.
