Could anyone supply me with a list of greek gods/goddesses and their roman counterparts

Greek /Roman/ Description

Zeus /Jupiter/ Lord of the sky and supreme ruler of the gods. Known for throwing lightening bolts.

Poseidon/ Neptune/ Ruler of the sea. Brother of Zeus. Carried a three-pronged spear known as a trident.

Hades/ Pluto/ Ruler of the underworld and the dead. Brother of Zeus. Had a helmet which rendered its wearer invisible.

Hestia/ Vesta /A virgin goddess and sister of Zeus. No distinct personality or part in myths. Goddess of the Hearth, the symbol of the home.

Hera /Juno/ Zeus's wife and sister. Protector of marriage, spent most of her time punishing the many women Zeus fell in love with. Likes cows and peacocks.

Ares/ Mars/ God of war and son of Zeus and Hera. Likes vultures and dogs.

Athena/ Minerva /Daughter of Zeus alone. No mother.(?) She sprang from his head full-grown and in full armor. The protector of civilized life, handicrafts, and agriculture. Invented the bridle, and first to tame the horse. Likes Athens, olives, and owls.

Apollo / Apollo /Son of Zeus. Master musician, archer god, healer, god of light, god of truth, sun god. A busy god who likes the laurel tree, dolphins, and crows.

Aphrodite/ Venus/ Daughter of Zeus. Goddess of Love and Beauty. Likes the myrtle tree, doves, sparrows, and swans.

Hermes/ Mercury/ Son of Zeus. Wore wings on his sandals and his hat, thus was graceful and swift.

Artemis/ Diana/ Apollo's twin sister and daughter of Zeus. Lady of wild things and huntsman to the gods. As Apollo is the Sun, Artemis is the moon.

Hephaestus/ Vulcan/ Son of Hera, God of Fire. The only ugly and deformed god. Makes armor and weapons forged under volcanoes.

Roman Gods

Jupiter
He was the master of the gods and the main god of the Romans. In his hand he held thunderbolts which he could hurl from the sky.

Juno
She was the wife of Jupiter, the goddess of women and fertility. Her symbols were a pomegranate and a peacock.

Mars
He was the god of war, the strongest and most fearsome god, except for Jupiter.

Venus
She was the goddess of love and beauty.

Minerva
She was the goddess of wisdom, learning, art crafts and industry. Her symbol was the owl.

Neptune
He was the powerful god of the sea. His symbol was the trident.

Ceres
She was the goddess of the harvest, always depicted carrying a bundle of grain

Vulcan
He was the blacksmith of the gods and a god of the underworld. If he stoked his furness too hard volcanos might erupt. He was the god of blacksmiths and volcanos.

Diana
She was the goddess of hunting and a goddess of the moon.

Bacchus
He was the god of wine and partying. Naturally, he was one of Rome's most popular gods.

Mercury
He was the messenger of the gods. the wings on his helmet and sandals allowed him to travel very quickly to wherever a god might send him. He was the god of travellers and tradesmen.

Vesta
She was the goddess of the hearth and home. She was very important to Romans. In her temple a flame was always kept burning as in the 'hearth of Rome' the flame should never go out

here are some of the Greek ones:
Ares: God of war and now a peer-to-peer file sharing network.
Hermes: multitasking god of athletics, shepherds, inventor of fire, and now an upscale fashion line.
Zeus: the big man on the Olympian campus still commands singular attention, even in Search.
Apollo: God of the sun, art, and medicine, among others, appropriated with varying degrees of success by NASA.
Athena: Goddess of wisdom. Much like her dad, Zeus, she has held fast to her divine meaning in Search.
Aphrodite: Beauty, love, lust, and sex are her domains. It's a wonder that she doesn't rank higher in Search.
Poseidon: God of the sea. We hear he's still feeling stormy about those movies.
Hades: God of the underworld—still trying to shake the associations with the devilish dude next door.
Artemis: Goddess of the hunt and, for some reason, a favored name for modern businesses in Search.

Hestia: Lesser known goddess of the hearth is our pick for adopted deity. Our heart goes out to the underdog.
