That's *especially* weird considering that the swastika has been illegal in Germany for quite some time, now. Luckily, brands can be removed. Here's hoping none of us ever ends up with "friends" like that--or drink ourselves unconscious around them.

Why would they do it? They're hateful and ignorant. Sorry to hear what happened to your brother, that there's people out there like that.
On the other hand, a person would have to be more than drunk to not wake up when branded. Maybe drugged. I didn't think of this at first, as I don't drink, but reading the other answers, I wonder, something about this tale just doesn't fit.

Your brother is lying. He got drunk and DECIDED to have that brand made. Do you really think his "Friends" would just happen to have access to a swastika brand just sitting around ?
