I've tried using an English/Spanish dictionary, and the word I got that I couldn't exclude on my own knowledge was "facultar." Got my composition back, and it was wrong of course. I've tried using the thesaurus for different English words to try to translate, but nothing sounds right...

The context is "no fue para ________ a la gente" as in "the purpose was not to empower the people."

Any help appreciated. =)

I have a Spanish worksheet and the question is: Write the subject pronouns in Spanish and explain what each means.

I don't understand what it's asking.

I've tried looking on Google translation and other translation web sites but can't find it. Seems strange... I've heard it before. Seems like a common word, but it's in any of the online translators or dictionaries I've tried.
