I usually go to a Halloween party. But this year, my BF's working on Halloween night (hes a barman). So we can't go out.

I'm nearly 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and too tired and uncomfortable to do much - can't drink, can't really go to a party or sit in a smoky pub or club.

I love Halloween though.

I want to do something but I'll be stuck on my own at home. I've bought a pumpkin, some sweets to give out to the trick otr treaters, some little halloween decorations etc,

I was thinking of just dressing up and watching Most Haunted Live or some scary vids etc, and giving out sweets to the tirck or treaters, but thats seems a bit sad doesn't it?

Any suggestions?

I'm going to a party that has a pumkin carving contest each year. I usually win first place (or second). I admitt, my carvings aren't always perfect, but they win because I do the best free-hand carvings, while most of the other people use those booklets that practically carve it FOR you.

I can't thinkn of what to carve. It has to be fun, and carvable. I prefere not to do an animal, I did a dacshund last year and a horse the year before. They liked them, but I need to do something different now.

My carving always relate to me. (I have a dacshund and when I carved the horse, I rode them). My interests are:

Music (Can't live without my iPod....but how could you carve that?)

Fashion

Texting (haha)

Volleyball

School (the people part)

I guess you can see I'm your average teenager.....so where does a pumpkin fit into that?

Last night, I went to the Halloween dance as a pirate, and like, a bunch of other people were pirates! Two other people had the same outfit as me! And now, on Halloween, when we go to school, we are suppose to dress up! What should I be? I don't want to be a pirate again, and I can't buy an outfit. Im throwing this haloween party like i have for the past 2 years and I need some games to play. not corny little kid games I mean scary games, you know? Okay SO I am stuck on a costume idea. This is what I have to work with. Army/ camoflauge pants and accesories.... A pink and white vinttage type dress with pink shoes... or a bathrobe ... ok so I can go with the Soldier thing, and look close to accurate, but not at all cute. Or I can be a bag lady (my moms choice) Or i can somehow work the pink and white dress in (my choice) So I am stuck.... what can I say I am wearing a pink and white dress and silver jewelry? Don't get me wrong its fun to dress up and have a laugh. But i don't like the idea of children going door to door asking for sweets or money.Its even worse if its teenagers if you don't give them anything you get you house egged or your car damaged.
Am i missing the point and being a spoil sport ?
