Go to your state gov. web page. look up registered sex offenders.
this should tell you who they are, the address where they live,
and give you pictures of them that you can print.
anytime I move to a new location I always look them up, so My family will know who to watch out for!
You should look them up and also go trick or treating with your
children just to be safe!
Hope this helps and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Ask your local police dept. They can direct you to your states on line listing. But remember predators roam. Also older children could harass them or steal their stash. The only way your children are truly safe is if you are with them. If they don't want you walking with them you could always stay back a couple of houses worth and still keep them is sight. Going together in a group is how many handle it also.

www.familywatchdog.us is a terrific site to show where predators are and what their addresses are, sometimes even their picture so you can avoid them. They left you know how many miles that is from you, and lets you know of every predator around and their radius from you. Stay with your children at all times. GOod luck and have a safe halloween!

get the neighbors to have crime watch in the neighbor hood
If you or they see anything suspicious like cars pulling up to the kids or a suspicious person following the kids up to the door immediately run out and get your kids.
other ideas.
set up the family code with your kids
tell the kids to say No if a starnger offers them candy
have the kids remember the car model and the license plate of the car
call 9-11 to notify police

in Florida you can go to the sheriff's web site and put a name, a zip code, or an address and a list of those people along with their address and faces come up...and a description of what they did too..
if you do not have that in your state..get everyone together and lobby for it..make your governor and every state political person know you all want this for safety ..
try going to your local police or sheriff's web site..if they do not have it..make a telephone call and ask them..
good luck

Okay, before halloween, go around your neighborhood and get to know your neighbors. Try walking with your children during trick-or-treating. (Also, if a new neighbor moves in, come to their house and greet them with cookies).

criminalcheck.com was the best one I could find, but even though your kids may seem old enough, they are everywhere. I live in a small city in florida, and there are 3 in my city! so i would be extra careful. happy halloween and be safe!

Go to your county police website and see if they have information on sexual predators living in your neighborhood.
