I'm going to a party that has a pumkin carving contest each year. I usually win first place (or second). I admitt, my carvings aren't always perfect, but they win because I do the best free-hand carvings, while most of the other people use those booklets that practically carve it FOR you.

I can't thinkn of what to carve. It has to be fun, and carvable. I prefere not to do an animal, I did a dacshund last year and a horse the year before. They liked them, but I need to do something different now.

My carving always relate to me. (I have a dacshund and when I carved the horse, I rode them). My interests are:

Music (Can't live without my iPod....but how could you carve that?)

Fashion

Texting (haha)

Volleyball

School (the people part)

I guess you can see I'm your average teenager.....so where does a pumpkin fit into that?

mix it all together!!! put some music notes for music! carve a shirt and some pants for fashion! put a heart then a "2" then TXT for LUV 2 TXT!(texting) carve a volley ball( a circle) then put #___(wutever ur # is in v-ball) then put V-BALL under that! then 4 school put FRIENDS, BOYS, etc. if u put all these things completely around the pumpkin, it will show your interests and at the same time your creativity! plus none of this cums from a book!!!!! oh and you shuld probably bring a pencil to draw it out (on the pumpkin) before u start it will help keep you on track! that wut i always do before i start carving!!! last year i did a cat,in a picture with a moon, a pupkin and some bats!!!

Maybe carve a face of a friend. I don't know how easy that would be. Or maybe a cover of an album that you like. Or even your school's mascot.

You could draw a music note, but to give it that spook feeling, make it look like it's oozing.
