I want to dress my neice up as Supergirl for Halloween but both my sister and my boyfriend say she looks slutty. What is your opinion??

over the years, the comics that have portrayed supergirl have given her many different costumes, and some have been very modest. most ppl are more familiar with the skimpy ones though, so thats probably what they're thinking of. i'm sure you can find a website that has galleries of her different costumes, and pick an appropriate one. i think Wizard magazine did a layout of her history a few months ago too. good luck!

supergirl is a nice role model
just make sure the skirt's not super short

In my opinion, comic book heroes in general are a poor choice of role model. A figment of someone else's imagination.

I also think she looks slutty (though I like Justice League) especially in the comics, where her breast size is that big that it gets ridiculous.I once read the drawers intended to increase her bust size with every number of the comics untilll someone would notice. :))
