If Santa's so unhealthy and needs to lose weight. . . why has he lived so long? I love Santa being fat and jolly and I've been hearing some groups today think Santa's providing a bad image for the young children being brought up in today's world, but yet he's outlived everyone so far. What are your views on this subject? Just have fun with this.

In todays United Sates, people are offended very easily about Christmas!! I am only 12, I wrote this on my own, and im not afraid to express my opinions! Today I was sent to my principles office for saying Merry Christmas!!!!
We live in a Christian country and we need to keep our traditions. Sometimes its ok to just go to your roots and do what you think is right, and not worry about what others think of you. Please for one day PLEASE! Thank you for your time

It may be the wrong spelling as I heard it mentioned in two movies. Obviously I know what ham is but what makes "hickery" ham different?

Stores typically will say "Happy Holidays" or "Seasons Greetings," as they take your money. I'm tired of everyone being politically correct.

Merry Christmas everyone!

How's this going to play out? "They" are trying to get Santa to say, "Ha, ha, ha!" instead of, "Ho, ho, ho!" down in Australia. It seems that the "Ho" reference is "too similar" to an American slang word for a prostitute and the Ozzies don't want their children scarred by the term.

If someone is young enough to believe in Santa Claus, where did they learn about "Ho's" in the first place?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,311797,00.html is but one reference out of hundreds that you can find for this story today.

I decided to make a Christmas basket for my parents and for my inlaws. I was thinking of putting potato chips, peanuts, candy, and crackers into their baskets. What other things can I add to make them better?

I see Christians are concerned with non-Christians celebrating Christmas. But, Santa Claus, gift giving, tree trimming, mistletoe are clearly non-religious activities.

I for one do not mind. It never even entered my mind, until today.

Maybe we should pick a different date so that Christians can celebrate the birth of Christ without all of the Christmas activities? Maybe August. Nothing happens in August, anyway.

That way, there would be no problem.

I have no idea what to buy my cousin-in-law for Christmas. She is 17 and a high school senior. She lives in Pennsylvania and wants to major in journalism in college. I know she likes all the normal stuff like starbucks, shopping, etc. but I wanted to get her something related to journalism that's fun and she can take with her when she goes away to college. Any ideas?

anybody wanna pitch in ideas for getting a gift that can be given to both the guy or da girl? it's for a concealed gift exchange with the family during xmas. it's almost like white elephant, but its actually nice gifts, not gift jokes lol.

for example: last year i bought a $30 microplush blanket to play

I see a lot of people say this: "I am so broke so I can't even get gifts this year for my kids"
Why not save up throughout the year for the holidays.. or start early enough.. a little here and a little there... so you won't have this problem come December? It's as simple as saving $20 a paycheck to have enough at Christmas to make your kids happy and bring them a little joy at Christmastime. I know what you will say.. "Christmas is more than just gifts" which is true and I agree.. but then kids also believe that Santa will bring something if they are nice and not naughty throughout the year, right? Happy Holidays!

I am about 90% done and they are even wrapped.. just a few odds and ends left. I start very early so I can enjoy the month of December with my family, not have to shop and not be broke. What is your status?
