I'd say it depends on who your boy friend is, and what does he like.

His rather hidden character traits that only you (as his girlfriend) know are quite important here, because by knowing him you should also know what will touch him the most as a Christmas gift.

What matters the most is the idea, the story behind the gift, those "words" that the gift should "say".

When me and my girlfriend had our first kiss we were listening to this very sweet song played with a harmonica, and she mentioned to me earlier (before we dated, in our first chat we were talking about our favorite instruments) that she loved the harmonica, so one Christmas I gave it to her as a gift with a little card where I wrote a few selected words from that song, a little: I love you, and a sweet kiss on her lips.

She absolutely loved it more than anything else.

Also, when we hang out together or something I always like to tell her how beautiful her hair is, so one day she made this very beautiful little thing with (actually) some of her hair and made a sort of necklace with it and gave it to me as a gift.

She could have given me the most expensive piece of jewelry in the world, but I would have never loved it as much as I loved what she gave me.

Anyway, I hope you see that it's all about the meaning behind the gift not the gift itself.

Wish you happiness

Guys like chocolate, too!

Go to a craft store like Michaels (or sometimes they sell it at WalMart). Find the Wilton Chocolate Candy Melts. They're little round things of chocolate-like candy, and they come in all different colors. While you're there, make sure to pick up a chocolate mold. If you get one that needs sucker sticks, go ahead and get them.

Then take it home, melt the chocolate in the microwave, and pour it into the mold. Put the mold in the freezer for 5 min., then pop them out. Done! They're delicious and one bag makes a ton.

I've done this for my senior class at school, and everyone has loved them. Even some of the guy teachers.

It's fairly inexpensive as well. The chocolate and molds together would equal maybe $5 or $6? If you can, perhaps you should get the ring AND make the chocolate! That would be a wonderful gift!

Good luck choosing! =P

i agree....dont pass too common. This'll be the 1st christmas my bf and that i are gonna spend collectively....and that i haven't any clue what to get him. even though it certainly relies upon on his character. if he likes autos, then get him something clever that has to do with autos. If he likes nutrition, a good theory is to possibly prepare dinner him dinner, or make a customised coupon e book that he can burn up interior the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. (suggestions collectively with, a loose decrease back rub, action picture nighttime at your place, candle mild dinner, or if ur sufficiently outdated, some greater person issues)

The ring is a great idea if you think he'll appreciate it. Anything that is truly personal is great ^_^ You could also always make him a home-cooked meal or something, even if you can't have it ON christmas, maybe a couple days before or the day after?

Get him a Hot Topic shirt or accesory. Best of all, guys adore electronics or any object with lots of gadgets. You might go to the spy store and get something funny and fun. Don't get any perfume beause that's overrated. You could go to Borders and get him some collectible DVD. Instead of getting something, go on a date like to the bolling alley. Or you can dress up in hot lingerie and give him good sex as a gift. Maybe you might get him a sex toy.
