Though I have eaten caviar in the past, I've never had to buy any for a party so any suggestions would be appreciated.

after witnessing media reports on the millions spent in dressing up like Santa and bursting costly crackers, this question kept prompting me... When millions are starving for a square meal a day, and when Christ Himself Has asked His followers to feed the sick and destitute and poor, is it imperative for lavish spending on Christmas..?

What is the name of the old (late 80's ish) Christmas cartoon where a teddy bear crashes his plane near the north pole? I remember that he was wearing a scarf...there is a cartoon which is similar to the one I am thinking of, but not the same. Also, any idea where I might find the old cartoon "Bluetoes the Christmas Elf" for cheap or free?

My favourite gift was my 'Doctor Scholl's Gel Massaging Foot spa'. It's wonderful for my pregnant, aching feet! & I also love the gold cross necklace (with diamonds) that my husband put a lot of thought into picking out for me!

My girlfriend wants me to give her great time on New Year in NYC but I don't know where to take her! She loves to dance, she likes parties and restaurants, she doesn't like clubs where there's so muany people it's nowhere to dance, and, most importantly, we're both quite poor. :-)

It really doesn't start on Nov 1 or the day after Thanksgiving. The four weeks before Christmas is the Advent Season.

I think she is looking for a way to make herself feel better. She has always been a little cheap but asking me for a nice name to call her has been hard to come up with. As you can see I can't think of positive ones. Please help. I like her, but I love Christmas and the fun of giving and sharing with loved ones. So do you have any ideas??? Thanks

Reason being, I am content with recieving gift cards. I would rather buy for myself than people going out getting me something I don't like or I'm not going to use. Not trying to be mean, but if you're gonna spend the money, don't you wanna make sure I enjoy it? Anyway, I had mentioned something to my sister about it and she wouldn't give me a gift card because she felt it was impersonal, and my mom wouldn't because she wanted me to be able to open something on Christmas morning. I loved my sister's gift but everything else I got was crap, and I can't take the stuff back. So next year I want to make sure they know that I don't want stuff, just gift cards. Do you think they will listen?

Was it what you wanted, asked for or a big surprise? Was it a dissapointment? Or are you over joyed? Or are you already content with what you have and didn't ask for anything? Do tell, we're waiting....... ho. ho. ho.

The Christmas celebration's true span is from the 25th up until the sixth of January, or the Epiphany, when the Magi kings arrived to the manger enable to present the baby Jesus with gifts. My family has always, as long as I can recall, celebrated all twelve days as opposed to abandoning our tree and putting away the manger by the 26th or 27th. Unfortunatly, as of yet, I know of no other family that celebrates the twelve days. Instead, for all other families I've had contact with, Christmas is over by the 26th, which has always left me feeling a bit...Lonely, I suppose, hence bringing me to my question. Is there anyone out there that celebrates the twelve days? I appreciate your time, and happy third day of Christmas!
