My favourite gift was my 'Doctor Scholl's Gel Massaging Foot spa'. It's wonderful for my pregnant, aching feet! & I also love the gold cross necklace (with diamonds) that my husband put a lot of thought into picking out for me!

this wasn't one of my gifts, but it was a gift that my sister gave to my mom.

my sister, let's call Sara, is a great writer and has entered many of her poems into contests. my mom would usually find verses written on random scraps of paper all over the house because my sister writes on anything if the mood takes her. anyway, whenever my mom would find a poem, she would gush to Sara saying stuff like, "Oh my gosh! this is soooo good!" or "wow! this is incredible!"

So for Christmas, Sara decided to write a poem for my mom. she typed it up, included pictures that added to the meaning, and made it into a book.

when my mom opened the present, she started crying. her tears flowed even more once she started reading it.

sometimes, it's not the book, or jewelry, or new CD that we wanted that is the best gift. sometimes it is the finger painting made by a two year old for you, or the story written my your husband, or the poem written by your daughter that is the best gift.

A tin of Christmas cookies my grandaughter made. She is 18 years old and just newly trying her hand at cooking from scratch. She did a bang up job, they were delicious and the wonderful aroma that waifted when I first opened the lid was unforgetable. It was truly a gift from the heart.

I finally got a digital camera. I really don't have much use for it, but they got cheap enough so I got one anyway. My excuse: we feed about 25 deer every evening and 2 families of squirrels and 2 families of rabbits so I will use it for shooting the animals.
You might try a "foot fixer" one of those things you put water and Epsom salts in and it heats the water and vibrates. They have varied names-mine is called a foot fixer and they are available nearly everywhere.
sounds like we both have a really awesome Christmas, and congratulations on your baby.

My favorite gift this year was a Belgian waffle maker that makes the best waffles I've ever tasted. It was from my daughter and was probably a little expensive, but I love it and will use it to make waffles until I'm no longer able to eat them.

I would have to say one that I gave and that was a couple of $50 bonds to my nieces and nephew. They will not know the value until they are older, but they still seemed enthusiastic
