Mines similar to yours.
I have already given up smoking, drinking and caffine.
I will be cutting out all sugar and limiting my intake of bad fats, increasing my fruit and vegetable intake and exercising fot 60 - 120 minutes a day.
I want to get healthy, in body and mind, so I can make the most of my life.
Good luck, hope you get your control.

Im 35 years old... never made them and never will. I think if your to weak to give up something during any other part of the year then you will most likely break that resolution. But good luck with yours.

I am with Staci. I resolve once again to have no New Year's resolution.
I never put much faith in a resolution that begins with a New Year. It is far better to work toward various goals without calling them a resolution, at least for me.
Resolution sets some of us up for disappointment with self. I prefer to simply hold long-term goals in mind and worl toward them day by day. This takes the drama out of it, and allows one to do their best in all things.

Last year I made 5 out of which I succeeded only one, I became a kind person. This year I'm making every attempt to followup all. I'll try to be a honest person, self-respecting, give my friends stiff completion and increase my friend circle. How are they? Will I be able to succeed.

My New Year's resolution is to not make any resolutions, that way.........if I do not follow through with my resolution, then I do not feel that I have let myself down at the end of the year.

I have a several, but here are a few:

1) Be more assertive (and prevent being trampled on by people!)

2) Be happy by focusing on what I want, not on what I dont want

3) Worry less!

4) Eat more healthily and keep fit

To stop myself from sinning, being rude or unkind in any manner, to perform random acts of kindness, be intolerant of rudeness and backfire with politeness and kindness.

(I'm hoping to at least make it to Feb. before I break the resolution)

I'm not fond of making New Year's Resolutions, my motto is the commercial slogan "JUST DO IT"
