religion put their own befeif on display at the same place on city property at the same scale so no scene stands out from the other

So, I've heard that calling christmas lights "White" and "Colored" is no longer politically correct. Instead they suggest you use "lights" and "festive lights."

What do you think of this? Let the debates begin!

I LOVE Christmas! And I am a religious person! However, my boss (who shares office space with me) is a real scrooge. I brought a small Christmas tree in and he loudly scowled but said I could leave it there. He is a really nice person, just hates Christmas. I want to put a couple things around and have Christmas music, but I don't want to cross the line.
How can I get him to cheer up and not be so "bah, humbug!"??
Or should I just leave it alone?

I need good ideas! I want to by my boyfriend a gift for christmas but dont know what to get him. I've only been with him for 8 months now. I know most of the things he likes but its still hard deciding. I even asked him to give me an idea of what to get him and he wont help. Hey what do you suggest I get my man.
He could use a new watch. He loves Dragon ball z, and has been asking for a x-box 360. But these things cost a lot of money. An x-box is approximatley 400 dollars.
I want to get him something to show him how much i love him.... help me out.

My 6 yo loved the movie and really wants one for Christmas. She actually wrote Santa saying that was the only thing she wanted! I didn't see the movie myself so I'm not sure what it looks like, but she keeps talking about a girl and a pink snowman.

I want to wrap some empty boxes with giftwrap to put under the Xmas tree for decor. Would it be possible to shellac them (to preserve them and keep them looking nice) so I can use them in the years to come, as well?
