On the subject of live Christmas trees. I guess tree farms are at the top of the list quality wise, but you pay the price , because you know it's fresh. All you're department stores have great prices according to the size of the tree. Walmart, Target, etc. Don't wait to late to buy them because the pickings of a good tree get slimmer. Make sure your tree isn't dried out either. The drier it is the more it will go up in smoke. I think Lowes sells Christmas trees and Home Depot too. Check around, look at their adds. Better than spending a lot on gas. Call them if need be for their prices and to see how fresh the trees are even though they might fudge the truth a little. The main thing is enjoy the tree hunt, because that's the fun of the whole thing other than decorating it. That personal, eye catching tree that will fill your head with memories of family and joy is lurking around the corner for you--so go find it and have fun.

Depends where your at, should be able to get a tree cutting permit and go to the woods for a day of fun. This will be the best Christmas experience you'll find. If this doesn't liven up Christmas for you.....then go with Hanuka.

Here at Christmas Tree Express, we venture out to the nursery and personally hand pick each beautiful tree. We tag it with your name and ship date. We do not cut your tree early - like many in the industry. These are cut just before they are wrapped!

Since most people will have no idea where you live, you most likely won't receive a lot of in put on this. However, most states have forests that they will allow you to harvest select trees from this time of year. There may be one close to you. Or a Christmas tree farm.

local nurseries or home depot are best for live trees (the kind you plant in the ground after the holidays)

Kroger in our area has cut trees for 15.00, I though that was a good price even though I have a fake tree in my house.
