Do you beleive people should have the right to say whatever they want even if it hurts other people. I for one beleive you should be able say whatever you want whether it hurts other or not. But i also beleive if you are stupid enough to go parading around saying you hate everyone then your gonna be screwed over xD

I always hear liberals say how stupid Americans are, how fat, lazy, ignorant, loud annoying, etc, etc, etc they are. Many liberals say they are so embarrassed to be an American that they don't even call themselves that, so why is there this hatred for their fellow countrymen? Is there a reason that they constantly mock and look down upon their country with contempt, or does this make them feel better about their own obvious inadequacies?

I am so tired of racism, it is unreal...racism against blacks, racism against whites, racism against other cultures... I am trying to raise my children to understand both sides of their heritage, but how can I when there is so much hate and pointing fingers on both sides? African Americans think that white people should suffer for what they did in the past, whites think that they need to shut up about it, blah blah blah. Why can we not just let the past go (as so many of us are told we need to do in our personal lives) and just try to make a better, more loving peaceful future for our children? Let go of the stereo types and be happy that we are now all free. White people, be greatful to africans for the sacrifices they endured all those years ago to build our country, and africans, be greatful it was a white man that set you free. This is just so stupid and childish, and it needs to stop.

I was just elected to be apart of a farely new social club in DFW. My job would be to bring in the new, fresh look. (Solely because of the fact that I'm young.)
What can I do to bring people in? What activities are universal and appealing to people my age? (Ages 19-29)

OK I work as a cashier at this local restaurant. I am a friendly person and I do sometimes have fun by making jokes with some of the customers. Anyway. There was this guy who came into the restaurant a couple of times. I made a few jokes with him but I never thought anything of it. Anyway today he came up to me and gave me his cellphone I said "what is that for" he said "here put your number in it" and I replied "no" he was like "why" and I said "I don't give my number out to people" He then said oh and walked off. But anyways do you think he will come back to the restaurant and what would you do if this situation or something similar happened to you?

So, I've been thinking of a way to use this Q&A to break stereotypes because I read SO many of them on here.
I am thinking that everyday I will post a new stereotype and see how many people are suprised to read that it is not true.
Here's the first one:

Stereotype: Native people are alcoholics and it is there fault.

First of all not all Natives are alcoholics. Second of all alcoholism was created to break down the Native community by colonizers.

Here is some history-
Native people did not have alcohol before colonization. There were about two tribes before colonization that had a corn brew. This corn brew was only used in ceremony, never for recreation. No other tribes had any form of brew or alcohol. Alcohol was introduced by colonizers. When they noticed the adverse affects it had on Natives (because it was new to them they had no tolerance for it) they decided to use it against Native people. Alcohol was purposely introduced into these communities to break them apart
