people like to get recognize for achievements, so of course whenever someone have done something out of ordinary they want to get recognized.
it's human nature to want to be associated with something great. let's say someone famous is a distant cousin that you never met, but found out you are somehow related, I think you want to mention to people that you are related to that famous person. so same thing with race.

You need to learn how to shine girl!
Being black is a beautiful thing. That's why you have the whole world so curious about what we do and when we do it. The world has been trying to snuff out blacks for centuries and we keep coming back, breaking records and being the catalyst for the rest of the world to follow despite all what they've done to us.
If Yahoo decided you couldn't discuss black women, black clothes, black culture, black men, black men's penises or everything about blacks that is curious even to the hard core racists on here... this damn site would literally shut down!
It's an honor to be so admired and discussed about, to have so many people be so curious about us to have so many other races trying to imitate and be like us... learn how to shine girl!
It's a beautiful thing!

I don't like it either because it lumps all black people together. In this way it takes away from the persons achievement. They end up "sharing" their accomplishment with a whole race.
What's really annoying is that no other race has to share. This is another form of segregation. It seems like that 'Separate But Equal" mentality. It really needs to end.

i think you're wrong too. Our black ancestors have been oppressed for so long and had to work so hard to get basic rights that should be guaranteed for everyone. believe me there was a lot of pain and struggle to get where we are today. We should celebrate each first we have because there was a time when we could only dream of what we can do now.

You're right, but it might well continue for a while. It happens with women too. I think it will go away eventually, but expect it to stay around for a while.

I hope you are not wrong about yourself. The main thing you have to maintain well is the paranoia and negativity inside your mind. Sometimes, they blind you from what is real and what isn't real. Don't let it get you.
