I'm and 18 year old U.S. citizen girl and here in the United States, we're taught about Hitler and the Holocaust as young as 10 years old. And I've always been VERY interested about Hitler and the Holocaust, because I can and at the same time I can't believe that 6 million Jews (among others) would be hated so much that they would be sent to concentration camps and treated so inhumane!!! I know that the Holocaust happended, because there are holocaust survivors that I've gotten to "interview." And to hear what happended in those concentration camps is absolutely APPAULING!!! So my question to you germans is this, what do you think about the Holocaust? Or are you just too ashamed that something so atrious like the Holocaust even existed? In school, we're taught that a majority of german kids in german schools are taught that the Holocaust never happended, or it wasen't as bad as it's really said to be. True or False. Take your pick.

Once we have been occupied and ruled by Britishers(portuguese and dutch people for sometime) for around 200 years. Our ancerstors have given their lives to make india (once called "hindhustan") a free nation. So many people have rejoiced their life with the hope that we would be free from the influence of wetsern people, but i think we have been again attacked by them but this time with language instead of weapons. In those days our legends have fought against britishers inorder to not to lose our culture, heritage and self rsepect, but now a days we have been attcked by western people with a weapon called language(English)in a such a way that we are losing our language(teleugu, hindi, malayaalam) consequently culture and heritage. In those days people didn't know how to tackle britishers agianst their weapons, but now eventhough we know how to tackle western people with language, we are ignoring it in such a way that nothing is happening which would result a future india with imoprted cultuure

My son who is 8 has always referred to people as either brown skinned or tan instead of the old stereotype black and white. I've never corrected him because to me he's right. Nobody is really black or white are they? And since tan is just a very light shade of brown, aren't we really all varying degrees of brown?

in our country it is a custom to eat dogs since time immemorial until the europeans came and introduce their custom and traditions. Do you think it is right that dog meat should be prohibited? is it our natural right to eat meat in our discretion?

Ever heard a white person comment about dreds, or chittlins' or rap? It just amazes me how little we know about our own neighbors and coworkers. Why aren't we more respectful of Black American culture and more eager to learn? We embrace other cultures but seem oblivious to the beauty and texture of the people of color who so enrich our lives .

I am astonished and upset, my child has come back to school after being sick for 8 days and the teacher didn't even bother to tell her hello or ask how she was feeling. My daughter who is only 7 years was appaled at such indifference, my friends say not to bother because this is like the british are, is this true? should I make a remark to the teacher or let it go? is my child being discriminated? I like to hear british answers please. Thank you so much.

I observed some unhealthy mentality of a couple of people for Indians, chinese and sometimes other asians groups. Do u think it's a common feeling and equal opportunity is just obeyed as a law and not accepted as a thought-process.?
