Where have you been? This country is run by whites! Politics, finance, law! The African American community HAD to TAKE what was due them because they wouldn't have gotten it any other way. Black Panthers??? What about the KKK, Neo Nazi's, Skin Heads, Aryan Nation, and so on and so on. Now let's compare. That's one pro African American rights group who believes in aggressive assertiveness for equal standing and just 4 of the many white supremacy groups who hate because of a skin tone! Wait until they open the Bible and read where Jesus is described as having skin of bronze and hair of wool. That will kill their "fiery cross of Jesus" rhetoric right there!
I'm sure you've heard about the racially motivated killings beatings and hangings and I'm talking about NOW not 20 years ago!! Climb out of your shell! "Walk in my shoes to know my pain and you will never criticize me again".

I don't really think I would claim racism (it would depend on your reasons), but at the same time a lot of things for blacks were created when we didn't have serious rights so it's not like it was done to be exclusive or something. Also, awards, months, festivals and college funds ect have also been given to other minorities so I would love to know why people only complain about blacks. Like I've said in several other answers, I would love for everyone to just be thought of as equal but that will more than likely never happen.
I'm really not into having race specific things, but at the same time I really don't understand why certain people are complaining. Society is pretty much dominated by whites, so why does it matter if a few things go to minorities?
