I got on a train at dover to go to ramsgate sat down on a seat. On the other side of the aisle was sitting a man who had long black hair..tied in tails with yellow ribbons. He had copper coloured skin. He had a black cowboys hat with a feather in it. He was wearing a trendy cowboy shirt and also a good pair of jeans also a pair of fancy cowboy boots. I did;nt know if i should start a conversation and call him chief...but he was no youngster. He looked at my hair and I felt edgy. At this point..the railway announcer said that our train would be a little late leaving......He said "UGH" train always late..next time I go by horse. It appears that he got off the ferry boat at dover docks and was going to travel around on trains.

This is a question I have been debating quite some time with African Americans as well as Europeans who live in America. Do African Americans need NAACP? Why or Why not? Be specific as possible.

If medical science can make it possible for an individual to change their gender "visually"...if an individual feels it is necessary; and by some laws an individual can also legally change their gender as well...

...can an individual change their racial background if one chooses too? And if it is NOT possible...why not? I know this question will bring up alot of moral and ethical answers...but I would like to hear more medical and legal answers. I also know comparing transexualism to race is problematic, but I feel there are very simialar points between the two that are comparable.

If medical science makes it possible to change ourselves visually, and laws can be easily changed; Should people have the option to change their race?

as per my survey most of the indian's studing in abroad r FC's.
as they say the main reason is due to reservation they dont get what they deserve in india and india dosent get what it needs
and deservs andour man power is wasted in other nations
i do agree agree that the sc/st have been exploited for years but then fc's r the capable ones
now it is really funny that even if a sc/st gets 50% in 2007 board deservs to get a seat in a medical collage and a fc passed out the same year same class and batch wiht 98% dosent deserve to get a seat in a medical collage ??????
i dont get that. is it that even now that person wiht 50% can be a docter bc his ansistors were exploited?
so u peole share u r ideas and views abt this matter.
be free and speak out

I am simply curious. I noticed that over half of the hotels and convenient stores in my area are ran by Inians. I recently went on a road trip across the country where I noticed most of the hotel buildings displaying the Indian building colors(kinda mud or tarracota). I never would have known this if I didn't have a friend that repaired hotel equipment.

I am not predjudice, I simply was curious if there was some type of an agreement between us and India. The US makes most agreements because there is something that is wanted by the other country. What does India have that we want?

I'm sure there is someone out there that is aware of the political side of these things, because, as you can see, I'm not.

I think if many Yanks visited Britain they would leave with a very different feeling towards us.

Tony Blair may like Americans, but it seems most of the rest of the UK thinks the USA is full of rude, loud, obnoxious people. Not trying to sound rude myself, but I'm just pointing this out as a fact. I'd say most Britons feel much more affinity with Australians, Kiwis, Canadians, etc., then we do with Americans, because we share more in common with those countries culturally.

I am of partial Irish decent. Himself is no longer living. My eldest sis is turning 50 and "joked" about instead of having a big surprise bday she wanted an Irish wake. I have a ton of ideas already, all in keeping with a true Irish Wake, but without help from Himself I am a little lost. Can anyone give me GOOD, reasonable ideas? I want to have the coffin filled with pictures of her. I don't know if I should teach her kids to keen or not (some attending won't understand the keening part but I think her kids would think it cool they are in their 20s). Thanks.
PS - NO one under 21 will be at this party so don't worry about "scaring" any little ones.
