they serve no purpose other than bringing pain & misery, mugging, burgling & spreading disease. surely it's time to classify them as vermin and eradicate them?

well it would be good for the pro-hunting lobby. Dress them up as foxes, take them into the countryside, and allow them to run away from the dogs and blokes in red on horseback chasing them.
Trouble is most of them would stop running after a while and say "peace brother" to the dogs as they rip away at their ankles before being blown away by a shotgun.

Do you mean junkies as in heroin addicts? If so then no. We should instead hunt to extinction the dealers and pushers that target the most vulnerable people in our communities and turn them into the monstrous, destructive machines we call junkies/heroin addicts/smack heads. every person that takes heroin becomes the same person, it is a disgusting, ruinous drug which shatters families and even whole areas of towns/cities. The police and government need to crack down on this rather than hounding people who enjoy a relaxing spliff in front of the TV or the people who drive at 32mph in a 30 zone. The worlds pretty f u c k e d up ain't it?

It's a delicate question but I will try to answer it. Drug addicts usually operate in the big cities maybe in some towns. They seem to be in a financial position and have their own private doctors who lets them have the drugs.It's not only pills that they take but hyperdermic syringes and inject themselves. They take these drugs for a extra fling or if they are very much bored and depressed. They get among the lower classes and make themselves nuisances to show that they are of a higher status. They were educated at colleges and universaties. The police can hunt them if they are taking class A drugs. But to hunt them to extinction will be bit of a problem. They can move about from area to area.

No, I don't think anyone should drove to extinction, they are human beings just like you and me,all different with different reasons and different morals.Most of the misery of what they cause "except in the most extreme cases" is on themselves.
And here I am talking about out of control drug users not recreational there is a big difference.

I understand how you feel, but the real problem lies in the fact that the drugs are in the UK in the first place.
Much better to put massive, relentless forces into hunting down the importers and major distributors and jailing them for whole of natural life without possibility of parole.

I am a pot smoker. My pot is all home grown. Seeds bought legally. Why is this a crime???
I pay my taxes, I am a highly qualified hard-working professional in software, I contribute positively to my local and wider community and I have a strong sense of consience.
Most of all, I am hurting nobody apart from myself, and this is a principal I live my life by.

That is what I call racism! What about the government that doesn't do anything against dealers and all this drug traffic to UK?
And not all drug addicts are thieves and dirty...Kate Moss is actually one of them...or is it just the heroin addicts you wish to extinct?

You cant run the addicts to extinction but the dealers. Thjey bring it in, they sell it on.While it is available it will always be there...But the ones that do take it dont need to be ousted they need to be helped.I am neither an offender of drugs and neither am i against them i feel for those who are dependent on them.....

Well, I'm a weed junkie. I go to work, i pay my bills, i don't rob, i volunteer on my kids soccer team....
I also smoke tobacco.
I also used to be a coke addict...I don't feel I deserved to die for it.
I think people like you should be hunted to extinction.
