I am a young teenager of Italin and African decent. Though my years of school I have found that when someone I have known asks if I am 'black' and I explian my heritenge they may act differtly towards me. They may responed nicely but, most likely thats not the case. For example: my 'best friend', (she is Porto Ricen) along with our other friend who is African, consently makes remarks about how I act 'white' and sound 'white' how I look adopted when I'm with my mother and half sisters . My friend Munchkin ( he's white, I don't know exactly what) says somtimes I shouldent join a cheer for something/one because is for a 'white' thing. Here in America we are suposed to be a 'melting pot' of religious, ethnic, and moral belifes, that is what makes this country. So why does a person get put down for something can't control, makes them special, and enhances the country?
