I have noticed that black people who act/talk white are considered goofy and embarassing. And white people who act/talk black are considered posers and embarassing. And yes I am stereotyping, and I know this isn't always the case, but it has been in a lot of my experiences. So basically I have come to the conclusion that it is cooler to be black in American society. Anybody agree or disagree and why?

I disagree. Its cool to be you. Whatever category that may fall under. As long as you are true to yourself and not trying to be someone else, you are cool.

Just be yourself. If you're a poser - be proud to be a poser. If you're an asshole then be proud to be an asshole- they come in all shapes, sizes, colors and creeds.

You get more respect by being just who you are - that way people know where you are coming from.

I am a Black Woman and proud of it. What you see is what you get. I don't have to front or put on airs for anybody. If you like me, you like me and if you dont - hell that's okay too. I have more important things to be concerned about then wondering if I am cool or not in someone's eyes.

I think it's cool to be just who you are.

No matter what, we can't be anybody else, so it's probably not worth it to worry about what the so called status quo thinks.

And times change, things, even people, come into fashion and then go...

But if you're comfortable with yourself and who you are none of that really matters.

When people are able to pick up on that, cause you are puttting that out, they'll go with you anyway.

Anyone who is against, you don't need em', right?

If that is how they judge people who needs em' anyway.

Not at all ITS COOL TO BE ASIAN jkjk I'm not Asian

There are white people that want to fit it with the black community called wiggers and vise verse is BITYS. Personally I think those people dont like themselves so they have to act something they are not. Not to be racist.

Society has so many mixed races these days that it still amazes me that people want to stereotype. Let it go, just be you and move on with your life. Who cares what other people think.

people should just be themselves.
If kids today lived 50 years ago; they wouldn't make it.
Kids today have so many opportunities and should take advantage of the good things that they have.
Segregation wasn't too long ago.
