I know we adopted an elderly woman out in North Carolina many years back when I was a kid, but now that I have my own kids and live in Texas, I'm trying to find a website or program that does this sort of thing. I think it was ALOT of fun to have an adopted grandparent and I can see how it would make a person extremely happy.

Would they say something nice or would it be something grumpy??? Awe, come on here people...we're just pretending and you know it's something you pet lovers have thought about. Right? Me too. Edit : Yes, I meant this for my Senior friends, not the joke room.

Or do you try to convey the sights and sounds so that the person you are talking to can get a feel in their minds eye of what you are describing themselves?

The perfect man is gentle
Never cruel or mean
He has a beautiful smile
And keeps his face so clean.
The perfect man likes children
And will raise them by your side
He will be a good father
As well as a good husband to his bride
The perfect man loves cooking
Cleaning and vacuuming too
He'll do anything in his power
To convey his feelings of love on to you.
The perfect man is sweet
Writing poetry from your name
He's a best friend to your mother
And kisses away your pain.
He never has made you cry
Or hurt you in any way
To hell with this endless poem
The perfect man is gay.

Would that be good or bad? If it was possible, would you prefer that?

I just want to say I have had Mormon friends and Mormon schoolmates, but I have this question:

Is the Mormon religion somewhat prejudiced?

I have been told by other Mormons they WOULD NOT date outside their own race unless its Asian. I have also been told someone that was not White will never be accepted. And lastly I was told that Blacks are cursed.

I know it will sound like rubbish to many and it sounds like rubbish to me, but is there any truth at all in this?

Please dont blast me with being racist because for the millionth time I am not-but this is a question I have never got an answer to.

Day 1.

Just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with not much to celebrate. When it came time to re-enact our wedding night, he locked himself in the bathroom and cried.

Day 2.

Today, he says he has a big secret to tell me. He's impotent, he says, and he wants me to be the first to know. Why doesn't he tell me something I don't know! I mean, he actually thinks I haven't noticed.

Day 3.

This marriage is in trouble. A woman has needs. Yesterday, I saw a picture of the Washington Monument and burst into tears.

Day 4.

A miracle has happened! There's a new drug on the market that will fix his problem. It's called Viagra. I told him that if he takes Viagra things will be just like they were on our wedding night. I think this will work. I replaced his Prozac with the Viagra, hoping to lift something other than his mood.

Day 5.

What absolute bliss!!.

Day 6.

Isn't life wonderful but it's difficult to write while he's doing that.

Day 7.

This Viagra thing has gone to his head. No pun intended! Yesterday, at Burger King, the manager asked me if I'd like a Whopper. He thought they were talking about him. But, I have to admit it's very nice - I don't think I've ever been so happy.

Day 8.

I think he took too many over the weekend. Yesterday, instead of mowing the lawn, he was using his new friend as a weed wacker. I'm also getting a bit sore down there.

Day 9.

No time to write. He might catch me.

Day 10.

Okay, I admit it. I'm hiding. I mean, a girl can only take so much. And to make matters worse, he's washing the Viagra down with whip cream and whisky! What am I going to do? I feel tacky all over....

Day 11.

I'm basically being screwed to death. It's like living with a Black and Decker drill. I woke up this morning hot-glued to the bed. Even my armpits hurt. He's a complete pig.

Day 12.

I wish he was gay. I've stopped wearing make-up, cleaning my teeth or even washing but he still keeps coming after me! Even yawning has become dangerous ...

Day 13.

Every time I shut my eyes, there's a sneak attack! It's like going to bed with a scud missile. I can hardly walk and if he tries that "Oops, sorry", thing again, I'll kill the *******.

Day 14.

I've done everything to turn him off. Nothing is working. I even started dressing like a nun but this just seems to make him hornier. Help me.

Day 15.

I think I'll have to kill him. The cat and dog won't go near him and our friends don't come over any more. Last night I told him to go and f... himself and he did.

Day 16.

The ******* has started to complain about headaches. I hope the bloody thing explodes. I did suggest he might try stopping the Viagra and going back on Prozac.

Day 17.

Switched the pills but it doesn't seem to have made any difference... Christ! Here he comes again!

Day 18.

He's back on Prozac. The lazy sod just sits there in front of the telly all day with that remote control in his hand and expects me to do everything for him. What absolute bliss!

I just started a new job working in a small doctor’s office. The people there are very nice but most of them are extremely religious. Some of the girls I work with have bible quotes as their cell phone ring tone. I am engaged to be married to my partner and many of my co-workers have asked about my wedding. I chickened out and told them I am marrying a man because they assumed so. It has been a month now and one of the girls wants to see a picture of my fiancé. What should I do? I am out to my family and friends but, for some reason, am afraid to come out to these people. Although my work has an anti-discrimination policy, what if my co-workers make my life hell? Also, how do I backtrack what I’ve already told them?

I'd never seen a person who had one black and 3 white parents before.
From what I know of American history people who were 1/4 black where not alowed in the "white areas" but um How did they know who was 1/4 black. Did people have to carry around an id or something?

I didn't choose to be this way; I can't help being who I am. I just find the female form to be alluring in a way that doesn't apply to males. When I see a beautiful woman, I want to take her in my arms, caress her smooth skin, and ravage her like a wild animal. When I see a good-looking man, I wonder about his diet and exercise schedule. If I weren't so fat, I wouldn't have to use craigslist. Nobody likes a chunky-butt plumper like me. I posted an ad and the first responders were men. I double-checked to make sure I was in the m4w section. There's a m4m for gays. I have nothing against gays. I don't use the f-word. That's a hateful word. But I am fat. Fat and lonely. I want companionship. Sexual companionship. The type I wouldn't want from a man. I don't spill over into w4w. I'm not a lesbian. I think the penis would annoy them. I'm so sad and lonely. And women don't like me. Why do these messages from indescriminate men bother me so much? Am I a bigot? Why can't I live and let live?

We had the "junkman" in our neighborhood. He wore a large black overcoat and a black hat, no matter the weather. He had a mangy black dog and pulled a wagon and used to go door to door about once a month collecting junk. We never knew his name. He was just "The Junkman."

I get really fed up with seeing rows of 20/30 disabled bays directly outside shops which are often 75% empty. If disabled people want to be treated as equals shouldn't they be made to park the same as everyone else? Sometimes I've had to pick up some heavy goods so I've parked in one and I've had some able bodied person have a right go at me! I've never once seen anymore than 2/3 wheel chairs in a store at any one time so I don't see what the issue is and besides as most disabled people are on benefits they will probably spend less money in those stores than myself as I work for a living and earn a lot more.

I live in the Southwest and I feel bad that many of the Alcohol related crashes are the result of a person of the Native American reservations here.

Now I have to say that not all Native Americans drink because I met plenty that dont. I met plenty with Masters degrees and PhDs so please dont tell me I'm racist.

But there are also so many that do and its costing lives.

Is there any Native American people or someone with knowledge about this shed some light on this topic.

I overheard someone talking, saying that if he heard that a guy listened and enjoyed listening to a certain singer he would automatically assume the other guy was gay. And on the other hand if this same someone heard that the other guy listened to a different certain band he would assume the other guy was straight. This just struck me as a bit weird that he would prejudge peoples sexual preference just on their taste in music. This made me curious as to what others thought on the subject, so...

•In your opinion, does listening to or enjoying certain singers/bands affect whether you are gay, bi, or straight?
•Would you automatically assume someone was gay, bi, or straight by their taste in music?
•Or are you of the opinion that music doesn't have anything to do with ones sexual preference (such as myself)?
