I am SOOO sick of asking a question about something having to do with homosexuality and som as*shole coming along and writing "Repent or you shall burn forever!" or "The snakes of satan will devour your evil mind!" PLeeeeaasseee. I didn't ask you. Go play in traffic.
Secondly, if they hate gay ppl so much, why do they come here?????!!!! If it's just to force their annoying views on us, move on!!!!! Nobody cares, and do you think anyone will listen if you go about it like that anyway? NOOOOOO.
Who agrees?
I just asked a question about my own sexualiy, and somebody called "God" Told me the only way I could cure myself is to commit suicide. If this is how God's ppl are, I'll have none of it. Thank you.
And the last time I checked, God didn't want His ppl to die for something they can't help.

As a black man I am absolutely baffled at the popularity of taking a name of common Anglo heritage and adding a prefix to it. This seems to be part of several overall trends among African-American names (the other trend appears to be simply misspelling names completely). I have seen LaDonna, LaMichael, DeShawn. . . there are hosts of other examples.

While I have no objection to naming your children whatever you want (they can always change their names when they get old enough, if they want) I am wondering WHY this has become a popular method of "blackening" a name. The closest I can come up with is a desire to evoke a connection Louisana's rich black culture by making names sound French (le-, la-, de-, des-). I am unable to find any real grounds for this belief, so I am hoping someone who might have some understanding of this phenomena can explain it and show a clear connection.

I was watching Nancy Grace (only watch it when she is not around) and am baffled by this Police Sgt who is a suspect in the disappearance of his 4th wife Stacy! They are dragging the canal that runs passed his house and have searched the house for clues! However, no one has mentioned that "a body" could be hidden in the swimming pool in the back yard! And I always believed that Policemen were not paid too well. Well Sgt. Drew Peterson is now collecting a pension of $6,000 a month! Any comments ? Do you think he killed her - and do you think he killed his 3rd wife?

Doctors and Fat Guys
An extremely obese man shows up at his doctor's office and claims that he's tried every possible way to lose weight, to no avail. So the doctor proposes a radical diet: rectal feeding. Reassuring the fattie that he won't starve to death, the doctor explains that he can actually take in enough nutrients through the rectal walls to sustain life, but that he's sure to lose weight in the process.
Three weeks later the patient comes in for a follow-up appointment, and he's down from 360 to a trim 175 pounds. The doctor shows him into his office and asks him how he's feeling, noticing that he's bouncing up and down in his seat quite energetically. "I'm feeling great, doc; never felt better" is the reply.

"In that case, why are you bouncing up and down like that?" asked the doctor.

"Just chewing some gum!"

Thanks!!!

I missed that movie a few days back, but the gist of it was if you could spend just one more day with a loved one that has died who would you spend it with and what would you do. I would do anything to spend another day with my mother and grandmother. We would start the morning with hot coffee and I would ask all the questions that I never thought to ask when they lived.
