Thanks!!!

Women have been Presidents, Prime Ministers, Queens and various heads of state in countries all over the world. For example Anna Merkel- Germany, Corazon Acquino- Phillipines, Margaret Thatcher- Britain, Indira Ghandi-India, Golda Mier-Israel. Not to mention Queen Elizabeth I & II Catherine the Great of Russia, And Isabella of Spain, without whom Colombus would not have discovered the New World

Women are perfectly capable leaders. Margaret Thatcher led the UK as Prime Minister successfully for many years. Indira Ghandi was President of India. Benizir (sp?) Bhutto was a popular and capable President of Pakistan. Golda Meir led Israel. Historically, one of the best leaders England ever had was Queen Elizabeth I. Women make capable scientists, engineers, doctors, lawyers, senators and congress members and mayors and city council members, there is no reason to count someone out as a potential President merely because she is a woman.

I think in the past women may not have been ready to be president. Simply because they have never been given the opportunity to learn and get experience. In this day and age, women have many more opportunities and get the same education as men. So yes, I think women are ready to be president, and I strongly encourage it.

Women have ALWAYS been ready to be President. We have just been too stupid as a nation to realize it.
