I mean, if it really is Friday, why would anybody need to pretend its Friday by dining at 'Friday's'? Isn't that the idea behind 'Friday's' restaurants: for everybody to dine at one of their cafes on other weekdays likeTuesdays or Wednsdays or Mondays, especially Mondays, and pretend that its Friday, since, by dining at 'Friday's', you will feel like its Friday. But if it really is Friday......, well, you know what I mean.
Is this not a question for all ages?

I also wonder about Saturdays. Why should anyone feel the need to dine at 'Friday's' on Saturday? Sundays, I can understand. Its all quite baffling, isn't it?

why do people think asian women are pretty/sexy or whatever? i'm asian myself, so i'm not racist or whatever....i just don't understand it.

sometimes, i just think that they're all talking about only a tiny group of pretty asian girls, and kinda forgetting about the less good looking and nerdier ones...

no guys have really shown any interest in asian girls (this goes for ALL of my asian friends), but you here about this "yellow fever" and people saying asian women are "hot" and stuff...

thanks for answering! but if you...

*are racist
*just tell me to see a shrink or something
*say "it's cuz all your friends and you are ugly"

please don't answer the question...i'm fine with honest people, but any of THOSE kind of people are NOT honest. :)

I have heaps of ancestors who share the same names - eg. 3 generations of "Theodorus Bouman"s, "Johanna Cathrina Bouman" and "Johannes Albertus Allis"s - why did parents use to love to name their children after themselves??

Also, whenever a kid died in my ancestor's families (as an infant) the next born kid would be given the same name. If that kid died too, the one after it would be given the same name. Why was that? Today people don't tend to do that - we like to think of all our kids as special individuals leaving behind a unique memory for their parents if they die.

Could you PLEASE take a moment today? to say a prayer for one of my dearest friends, who found out just today that he has inoperable cancer. He is 70 years old and is planning to marry in January... His wife to be, is my best friend... God love her...she has nursed several people through the awful throws of cancer, the treatments, surgery's, and the slow deaths of her loved ones. How she lives through all this I will never know... and once again, at what should be a happy time, life has thrown her another painful and deadly curve ball... They are not going to share this information with anyone... I'm thinking they do not want to ruin any ones holidays, or the upcoming wedding... can you imagine... My heart is broken, she will need all the strength she can muster to get through this, as will he... so please say a prayer for these two wonderful people that you will never know... I promised I would not share it with anyone...but I know the power of our prayers can work miracles...

A workman is doing work inside a church. He sees a little old Italian lady get down in front of a statue of Mary and start to pray.

The workman decides to have a little fun. He gets behind the statue of Jesus and loudly says, "Woman, get off your kness. Don't pray to her, pray to me!"

The little old Italian lady looks up at the statue of Jesus and says, "Shutup your mouth, I'm talking to your mother!"

When I was young, I might say I only like cute guys and might be so superficial but whet will happen if I don't stop being superficial even if I got older?

Would you father a child for a lesbian couple?

No sex involved, just the passing over of your sperm, which would be inserted via a turkey baster into one of them.

No physical contact at all, and only a handshake as a contract.

I've been asked to do this, and as my wife and I are struggling to have kids I am quite keen on the idea (I'm 37, if that helps).

Obviously my wife is unaware of this, and will remain that way.

I was thinking about attending an all-girls college and I was wondering if the chances of having a relationship with a girl are even more than in a co-ed college.

How common is it?

on someone else's chair they will tell you to get your bahooky out of their chair. It is a well known used word, I am amazed you have never heard of it, My brother-in-law is American and he thought it was funny.

Whew! I got home from work at around 5 pm...thankfully, all my grown children and two of my grandchildren PLUS my ex-hubby participate in the Thanksgiving cooking of the dinner!

My son improved on my mac and cheese recipe and now he is the extradinaire one...and my daughter in law bakes plus makes my mom's recipe of my Dad's fav sweet potato souffle...my daughters fix the mashed potatoes, dressing, salad, pies and green beans...and my ex does the deep fried turkey and ham. I have the task of the southern style greens [kale and collard mix]

Everbody wants enough food to have doggie bags to take home!

SO I have just finished 6 lbs of fresh greens and they are on the stove and I am tired! LOL - and if you have ever done greens, you know what the cleaning, desteming and washing is all about! LOL

So what are you cooking?

Hi Everyone...
I was just reading over a post that referred to someone as a newbie.
Guess I could be called a newbie here..I just run all-over although I have posted at the Seniors thread before and should stay here.
Some of the posts are way out for me in other places.
Just wanted to let all know I would not report are do anything to cause anyone any problem.
