As an American, I would LOVE to thank you! I have spent my morning reading questions that bash Americans. One question actually mentioned something about how Americans should realize that it isn't only Americans that post and answer questions on Yahoo! Answers, and that all of the talk about Thanksgiving was making them mad..

Why thank you kind sir! That is appreciated. Do you have a
similar day of celebrating to be thankful for what you have?
I spoke to my British friend and they surprisingly have none.
Since they have adopted Halloween I thought maybe they'ed
have found a day to be 'greatful' and rest and enjoy it also. So they haven't anything to celebrate, until Christmas. Do you
