A workman is doing work inside a church. He sees a little old Italian lady get down in front of a statue of Mary and start to pray.

The workman decides to have a little fun. He gets behind the statue of Jesus and loudly says, "Woman, get off your kness. Don't pray to her, pray to me!"

The little old Italian lady looks up at the statue of Jesus and says, "Shutup your mouth, I'm talking to your mother!"

Amanda our lord had a good sense of humour, he would have had a laugh at that as well.

I am a Catholic myself, and when I told that to the priest he was laughing as well.
Jesus doesn't want us walking about with a sour face, he would have a laugh himself.

Heres 1 my minister told me, I think its funny, what do u think?................
One dark stormy winters night, Rev Jones went downstairs to answer a knock at the door.
"Can you give me a push?" the stranger's voice asked . "Certainly Not, dont u realise its 3 a.m.? said Rev Jones. He slammed the door shut and went back to bed.
"Who was that?" asked his wife. After he had explained, she said "Remember this morning in church when u preached about The Good Samaritan"
Feeling rather guilty, Rev Jones got up,dressed, went downstairs, opened the door & went outside into the wind & rain.
"Do u still need a push?" he shouted. "Yes" replied the stranger. "But, I cant see u,where are u?" said Rev Jones. The stranger replied " Im over here...... on the swing"

I don't find it funny. To pray means to ask, so it is not really worship, though people seem to think that as the only meaning nowadays. Also, it makes it seem as though Jesus is a loser, nope, not my cup of tea.
