on someone else's chair they will tell you to get your bahooky out of their chair. It is a well known used word, I am amazed you have never heard of it, My brother-in-law is American and he thought it was funny.

I'd never heard the word before either. I always enjoy learning something new. Now I just have to wait to for someone to sit in my chair and I'll know what to say. lol

I lived in Scotland for 12 years off and on but I never came across the word "bahooky". Is it a word native to a particular area perhaps.

Yes It happens all the time in my house, swipe my chair and yer bahooky will be on the floor, fair warning. lol.

maybe in Scotland but on this side of the pond like ivory 99.9% will not understand and think it is funny -- they would just ask the bloke to move off and mind his own business!!!
