I am of the first generation in my family to be born in the UNited States, the rest of my family was born in portugal, and cam ehere when they were about 18, including my parents. So does that make me Hispanic or European? Aren't people from Spain Hispanic? Portugal and Spain are connected!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I know it's something to with the poor people but why have food tokens? Here in Australia it's unheard of as we have a good Social Security system to help the poor, disabled and disadvantaged.

I post this in the Senior Category because I want to understand why so many people seem to have no clue what it is like to be a homeless individual living in the streets & using shelters. This is a serious problem in America for seniors & the disabled (mental & physical).

Have you had any experiences that you would care to share about the emotional side of being homeless?

Did it change you for the good or not?

I just had some new neighbors move in next door. They are always blasting Bob Marley tunes and instead of saying "hello" they say "ayyyee mon!"
Anyway.. I have been noticing that my kitty has been acting different lately. Usually she only wants to eat 2-3 times a day, but now she is ALWAYS hungry. she also started to meow along to the bob marley tunes, as if she is singing along. She jumps through the window at night and starts licking my face so I will wake up and feed her.
what is going on here?

I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court.

I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.

When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one. And in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response.

"Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."

I'm black and i'm 12 going on 13 and i find that it's them dumbasses who always act like they can beat everybody and think they representing there hood that are the reason that black people get the bad reputation of being ignorant. first of all if you in the seventh grade and you can barely read you stupid. second just cause you can play football don't mean anything cause anybody can catch a ball.thirdly don't be saying you represent no hood cause if you die right now you think that hood want stop bein there. fourthly don't be sayin you got money and come to school wearing them old *** dirty shoes that look like you got them off the power line. it's people like you that makes the black people like me ashamed cause atleast you can do is learn to read correctly and get good grades in school.

I answered a question this afternoon under the category of Home>Health>Dental. The question was "Why do people with smelly breath always want you to get close?" I checked back later to see some of the responses, and some guy that I have never had contact with(Chicken B) has a link on there for someone with really bad breath. I clicked on it, and it is ME!!!!
