Why do men like boobs?

I haven't even found a man that can answer this question! They just do. Anyone have a compelling reason? What size do you prefer?

We were just having this discussion in my office. Saturday night I was at a bar, and my friend introduced me to her boss - I don't think he would recognize my face if he saw it again. He just stared at my chest the WHOLE time! It was so obvious. I'm very understanding about glancing, I know men like to check out the goods. But have some class!

I think the most answers I've ever gotten before is like, 12. Ask a question about boobs and practically the whole forum answers! I love it:-) Thanks for all the answers - all good ones!

LOL....I just called my husband to ask him...He said because men don't have any and they're beautiful to look at...LOL...He named mine Lisa and Taneisha....He claims that they are his best friends...LOL

The 'why' of it is as difficult to reason out as it would be to explain why girls like George Clooney's symmetry or cheek bones or whatever, compared to say Ben Stiller - obvious but difficult to explain...

Basically, we do what we do because our genes want offspring, even if we don't. Pert, good-sized snoobs let a guy know, on a subconscious level, that a girl/woman is of the right age and ready to make babies and feed those babies. Bigger boobs indicate an internal chemistry w/ a higher probability of being fertile. With that underlying it, lots of psycho-sexual inputs from nursing on up add together to make them a huge focus.

(On a personal note, it's because they are awesome. might as well ask why cheesecake is delicious or why it's wrong to punch kittens - because that's the way it is. Period.)

For me, the ratio from chest to waist is more important than absolute size, i.e., even a girl with smaller boobs and a nice waist has 'better boobs' than a girl with bozangas and a gut, but that's just me...

They are soft and add to a women's curves. They are possibly also a sign of fertility, or are interpreted as such, on an instinctive level.

We know they are somewhat sensitive to the touch, and so we enjoy the idea of the woman being aroused by us.

And the mere fact that they are identified as secondary sex characteristics means they are identified with sex. Maybe if all women walked around topless the fascination would wear off!

This is both a comedy and information forum, so I will attempt both goals.

Why can't men relax around racks? Men that are still sexually capable and willing are going to see boobs as a distinctive form of femininity, and the men can be generally sorted into four categories. Men either:

a) want their woman to have the shape they just saw so they have easier access to them,
b) want to have them in a similar way they need baseball cards (Topps?),
c) want to explore/expose them immediately as an "art project" regardless of access requirements, or
d) want the female to run away because they're hanging so low to the ground/table they might spill someone's drink

This is why even married men look. They are still sexually active (usually). They want to be monogamous, but just like having a pretty flower in the garden, strong-sexed men are drawn to look. Especially at pretty flowers that look like lady beach volleyball players or pole dancers.

It's instinctive to men to like feminine, sexy body parts. You can ask a badonkadonk question "behind" this one (pun?) and probably get similar results. Good luck understanding us men. And could you get me a beer from the fridge while you're up? I'm setting my fantasy team. Thanks hon.

Actually, studies have shown that in societies in which women's breasts are regularly exposed, the breasts aren't sexualized. I think it has to do with the taboos of a culture. For example, during the Victorian era a woman was expected to keep her ankles covered, and it was considered very titillating if she exposed them. In other words, the more a particular body part is covered, the more titillating it is when it's exposed.

I have the same.. um.. problem that you do!!
Men just like what they don't have. A boob is such a foreign, different object to them... more different that anything that's on their body. Men's body types tend to be hard, angular, muscular...etc. Women's curves are soft and round. They're just attracted to what they don't see in the mirror everyday. And plus... the boobs could subconsciously be a sign of fertility... which they are drawn to.

Boobs are considered sexual organs of women. Men like them out of sexual attraction of womens part.

They are very soft in nature and can arouse emotions in both men (by touching) and women (by feeling the touch). The size really depends on person to person. In general, majority men like big boobs. None of the men would like flattened boobs.

Men like boobs because when a guy sees them it just becomes stimulating for the guy, and i am not sure but it could remind them of like their bottle as a baby. Personally i say anything bigger than a handful is a waste

We like boobs because they are fun to squish, and they are soft and feel good in our hands, and when we rub them.

Also we've never seen this part on the human body before as we don't have any, so it is interesting, and erotic to see, and touch.

Men prefer big because there is more, and it gives us more temptation to touch seeing huge round-like structures just shaping out off your clothes, lol..

They are also really fun to suck, and taste decent, and unique.

I would have to say high b or c cups are the nicest. mainly because they look the best on smaller girls that i ussually go for. Although its all a matter of opinion. much like some women prefer larger penis size to smaller. or vice versa. Its all on the individual person
