I had no cerfew. My friends parents thought that I was a wild thing! I would get bored and come home. Usually around 12:00 -1:00 AM.

My parents were sooo tough on me--early cerfew--it was a drag for the kids I was with because of that. I wanted to live at your house. Remember that party you had and I wasn't there? I was never allowed to do stuff EVERYONE else did. That sucked!!!
I didn't do that to my daughter!!

Even in high school I wasn't allowed out on a week night after 9:00. My dad was rather strict about being home to study and getting enough sleep to do well in school. I understand that now. The weekends were mine! I was a good student and earned the right to be trusted. I did not take advantage of that, ever!

Sun - Thur it was ABOUT 10 p.m. Once in a while Mom would get a wild hair and DARE me to come in after 10. I left my gf's house at 9:40 one night (running..over 2 miles)...hit the door as the big clock was gonging 10 p.m. Fri and Saturday, once I was driving, was pretty open. Not much trouble to get into in Slower Lower Delaware. Besides, she knew my gf had to be in 11:30 and I'd either be there or on the way home.

11:00. I had that curfew for as long as I lived at home. Which is why I moved out a 18.

I really don't recall being under a curfew. Growing up in the country, there wasn't a whole lot to do, so we were normally around the farm when we got home from school. When we'd go into town, my mother would always tell us not to stay out until the cows come home. So I guess that was my curfew, when the cows come home!

When I was in High School the town I live in had and still has a 10 oclock curfew for minors.Unless with there parents are with them. This is a great law.Kept us out of trouble and the side walks were rolled up at 10 oclock. It is enforced.

From 15-17 when I was allowed to date, I actually had no curfew. We were living in France and when I was home on the weekends from the dorm, everything always started late...French time...so I often didn't get in until after 2 or 3 am with my boyfriend as we'd go out to restaurants, plays, the theatre etc.

When we returned to the US - my parents clamped down and all of a sudden I had a nine pm curfew during the week [IF they even let me out!] and midnight on Fri and Sat. nights...mind you, this was THROUGH my Soph yr in college! LOL I got married at 19 and believe it...I got grounded and told I couldn't go out with my fiance TWO WEEKS before the wedding! Ya' gotta love old fashioned parents!

9 pm I graduated at 17; and until 18 yo (most of my fist year in college) it was still 9 pm but sometimes they'd let me stay out until 11

I even got grounded two weeks before my 18th b-day for getting lost on a highway and coming home late.

after I turned 18 - it was like the rules never existed
I lived with my parents until 19 and then i moved out but we did not have any problems

I didn't need a curfew. Come hell or highwater I was getting out of bed at 5:30 to help Pa with milking the cows on the dairy. One night I went out drinking with some buddies and tried to tell him to piss off once, but just once. The old man was still pretty fast and spry. That country livin keeps you healthy. Made me a better man, I rarely miss early morning appointments to this day.
Thanks Pa.

The latest on a school night was 10:00...and midnight on weekends. Only rarely was it extended.
