Well, maybe i should rephrase that question as i have many... but i guess my favourite, happy song:
Culture Club: Karma Chameleon.
I guess, it just reminds me of my childhood. being young, dumb and ...er..free!!!

what song puts a smile on your face whenever you hear it?

People joke about the differences between men and women: Men don't listen. Women can't read maps. Men snore more. Women are less likely to have affairs.

But are men and women really different or are those statements myths?

It turns out that science says men and women are different.

These were some of their conclusions:

Women will always be two years ahead of men in age intellectually, men are better at directions, women do talk more, men have difficulty registering womens voices causing them to listen less, women have better memories, men take more risk, women pay attention to detail more, men think about sex more, women DO have adam's apples, men aren't better at math and science, men do cheat more, women are better at raising children, men do snore more.

What do you think of this? Does it change your opinion of male and female superiority? Do you think it's false science? Do you see facts?

I went over to his house, and told him that I love him. He is gay, ( I am a woman) but we've been friends for so long and I couldn't stop my heart from loving him. He was nice about it, but said he was gay. I wrote him an e-mail to further explain my feelings... a few days after I wrote the e-mail I told him that it would be nice to get a response back to my e-mail with something, anything. He said he needs time. Why does he need time?

I am expecting the obvious "I'm flattered that's nice and all.. but it won't work.. we can still be friends though." It should be that easy, and I won't be any more hurt from that. I just wanted him to know that he is loved. Why does he need time.

I think so. I think it has to do with the survival aspect of humor. Humor is a pressure-release, and where is there intense pressure if not in the realm of Judgement Upon a Lifestyle? Also, I think gays are more at ease with sexual topics (ya' think?), and there, too, humor resides. What's your impression?

...and also how when people are in love they get married and once they get married they are 'affectionate' with each other. Needless to say, the kid was grossed out and replyed...."You mean that's what you all are doing when I'm in my room playing with my Legos???" Do you think this lesbian love is a bit much to totally expose to a young child?

I mean, Jeff M makes homophobic comments, but to spend SO much time here, and have SO much knowledge about gays... it's nearly obsessive!
It is making me suspicious.
Maybe he's testing the waters before he "comes out".
It's OK Jeff, I for one welcome you to the gay community.....

Why are Black women desired by White men but then they are to afraid to ask us out? I get this so much, a White guy will tell everyone I know that he likes me and would like to date me but never personally ask me out. Why, I'm not an intemidating type person nor do I come across in that manner, and I don't soely date Black men only, but for some reason a lot of
White guys are too afraid to ask me out. So what is the deal with that?

and the topic of the conversation was about you? (Long story short, people were gossiping about me.) At first I was actually embarrassed for the people that were doing the gossiping. The expressions on their faces was priceless! (LOL) After I walked out of the room, I was in fact, a little hurt and disappointed. What would you have done if it were you?

ok i know they don't find me sexually desirable 'cause i'm a girl but
how can they possibly want to be in a relationship with me.

most importantly, how do i protect myself and figure it out before i fall in love?

by the way, homosex. boys who do this will never admit it so forget about an honest conversation.

thanks

When no one has white or black skin?

People did not become white until they came to America and did not become black until they came to America. I don't get it. Only white people come from America and Canada. Only black people come from America and Canada. People in France would be a different race than me just like someone in Haiti would be a different race from a black common sense people.

Do the people who impersonate well known people like celebrities or political figures really have such a pitiful life that they feel the need to be someone else? Do they hate their own lives so much that they don't want to be themselves? Do they wish they were as well known as the person they select to impersonate? Or is it just easier for them to take on the ideology of someone else rather than try to think for themselves and come up with their own ideas and opinions?

I am a younger lesbian twenty something who pretty much grew up without parents. I have always been a jeans and t shirt kind of person. Which is fine by me. But I have met someone special and I feel the urge to try out a softer side of me but I don't want to look stupid. Any serious ideas about what I ought to try? I am a small build with blonde hair that is short and kind of wild. Thanks.
