I want to know your story.
What happened to you so bad that made you, not your race, feel the way you did about a particular person. To make you hate everyone that have the same skin complection of them?
*mexican are hated
*whites are hated
*asians are hated
*blacks are hated
*indians are hated
all of our ancestors have played a part in killing and hating.
why today do you feel as if one or maybe a couple like, act, or portray the same characteristics its because of the color of their skin?

…and all the other crimes under the law that heterosexuals and other people commit, they are going to be just fine in the afterlife? We're already in Hell from the way that homophobic heterosexuals have made it for us here on Earth. Some gaypeople out there feel as if they do not have any value or worth because of the current climate while others remain subservient, unflattering, unappealing, and/or unbecoming. But, hey, do what you want!

Ok here in England the legal age for booze is 18 and cigarettes is 16. And booze is very very easy to get your hands on - their are 3 shops that sell alcohol about 200 Metres from my front door.
Me and about 10 friends hit the pub every friday night after work - i normally drink half a bottle of southern comfort (with pepsi) before i get to the pub - then probably half about 5 or 6 double jack daniels n cokes before the night is over. Saturdays i spend nursing a hangover - then sunday i do drink a little but only 2 or 3 because of work the next day.
So people i know (ie my parents) view this as too much which i find amusing, compared to half of my friends its nothing!

I've been dating someone for about 6 weeks. We are seriously considering living together. I just wanted to get feedback on this.

I've been in several serious relationships, as has he.

This is also the first time that either of us have been in love.

We are tossing around the idea of living together, starting in January. That will put us at nearly 6 months.

Any personal experiences would be great to hear.

I feel completly lost. I found some Indian friends who took me to their rez and I felt well...sorta out of place. They where very nice to me and treated me well.
The strange thing is that I have more questions leaving then when I was there. My biggest question is how do you keep a low key if you are white visiting an Indian reservation?

I actually have nothing against gay people, basically because I'm gay myself.
However, I'm really annoyed with those gay parades and campaigns! You don't see Heteros organising hetero parades.

And the more homosexuals defend themselves and try to bring public awareness, the more the common people are going to hate them and think that their an "abomination" in the eyes of God or whatever.
Advice, to all homosexuals: Just keep everything low-key and let the heteroes be.

And gays making out in public is worst. Like I said, just keep everything low key.

who thinks that african americans should be called black americans? I'm not racist or anything, but I remember telling a lot of " Afircan Americans' that they are from Africa and they deny it and get angry. So if they don't want to get involved with Africa they shouldn't be called african americans then, and the only suitable name for them is black american.

I think too many people try to settle down too soon in life and that's why it never works out. I'm referring to straight and gays. But as a member of the GLBT community, when do you think is a good time to start settling down? I plan to start looking for someone to settle down permanently around 25.Don't get me wrong,Ii'm not talking about sleeping around in the meantime beforehand. I always have monagamous relationships. When I say settle down permanently, I mean marriage. But I know so many people who are like 20 who have only been dating the person they are with for like 6 months who are talking about marriage. You just think to yourself, is it going to work out? I'm not saying that it will never work out with people like this, but I believe in getting to know yourself and the other person as well before jumping into things.

A "phobia" is an irrational fear of something. Yet often we hear the word "homophobia" banded about towards anybody who simply disagrees with homosexual practice - whether that's from a moral or religious viewpoint.

I know that a lot of unwarranted hatred is directed towards gay and lesbian people (and please - no 'gaybashing' in your answers else you will be reported to Y!AT) but is it possible to believe that homosexual practice is wrong without being called homophobic?

Politically, I think the Tories are wrong (and evil!) but I wouldn't dream of hurting a Tory or denying them a right to exist or promote Tory values and beleifs; and nobody calls me Toryphobic.

So why is anybody who beleives homosexual practice is wrong labelled homophobic?

i have been attracted to a co-worker for a long time, going on 2 years, but i never see her. being that im a girl i cant just go up and try to become friends... i just think that might be weird. i know that when someone tries too hard to be my friend it can be a turn off.
i really want to get to know her better so i can see if what i feel is real. i have spoken to her a few times, but nothing serious and i usually just say hello. i never see her often because she usually stays in her office.
how could i start a convo with her, or just become friends? i've never had problems making friends, it has always come naturally to me, but with her i get nervous and feel like she'll know i like her.

i dont know if im just curious or if its the real thing, but i atleast wanna get to know her before i give up!

does anyone have any advice, am i totally a freak???

im not trying to date her or anything, shes probably not into girls, but i just want to get to know her and see what happens..

OK,
For the sake of this I will assume you are of a legal age, so I will ask all of you this...
If you were considering dating someone, what is the largest age difference you would consider between you and the other person no matter how attractive the other person is to you?

Let's say for example that you are 22 or so and at a club, and spotted someone you did not know that you thought looked very attractive, and they and you met and started chatting and enjoying each other's company. The other person after awhile revealed that he (or she) was much older (or younger) than you might have ever guessed.

Assuming that other person is of at least legal age, would you still be turned off simply because of a great age difference, of lets say for example 10 or 20 or more years difference even if the other person was in shape?

Have you ever dated someone much older (or younger) than you, and were you both happy?

I always wonder how the distribution of labor works for other same-sex couples, since there's no room for the sex role nonsense.

I cook and fix things; my wife does most of the cleaning, though I do some on weeknights, when she works.

Do you get turned off by people who ask to "listen" to other people's problems instead of seeking real answers? Do you? And why?
