i have been attracted to a co-worker for a long time, going on 2 years, but i never see her. being that im a girl i cant just go up and try to become friends... i just think that might be weird. i know that when someone tries too hard to be my friend it can be a turn off.
i really want to get to know her better so i can see if what i feel is real. i have spoken to her a few times, but nothing serious and i usually just say hello. i never see her often because she usually stays in her office.
how could i start a convo with her, or just become friends? i've never had problems making friends, it has always come naturally to me, but with her i get nervous and feel like she'll know i like her.
i dont know if im just curious or if its the real thing, but i atleast wanna get to know her before i give up!
does anyone have any advice, am i totally a freak???
im not trying to date her or anything, shes probably not into girls, but i just want to get to know her and see what happens..

After two years of working together I would suggest you simply tell her that you are having problems with such and such (insert work related issue but not a person) and would she care to have coffee or a drink after work and discuss it? You can do the same thing with lunch, simply ask her if she would care to get away from the office and go to this new place you heard of.
Find a common ground and interest and do something social away from work.

Walk by her office stick your head in and say "oh, I am going out for coffee, would you like me to bring you back one?" Then when you bring her back one you can give a short chat about the weather. Then about a week later do it again.

hmm just walk up to her and start talkin about the weather or sum thing but dont make ur self look stupid lol or ask her if she wants a soda and u buy her one at work i dunno do sum thing u gotta find out the truth sum how do u really like her or is she even into girlz u gotta find thids out so go up to her be nice and ask her sum thing oh and no ur not a greak or nothing

its very hard 2 cop up with such situation.
Dont get upset. B confident & start frndship with her.
Whether she is lesbi. or not is very tough to find out. Try to know her personnel background. Dont b in hurry

Invite her for a party (birthday or christmas maybe) and talk to her, know her tastes.... rest u know!!!
