Me and my partner aren't able to live in the same city for another 4 years due to out jobs. So we have not set up house yet but we plan to evenly distribute the choirs we have already discussed it and we will be hiring a cleaning person to come in once or twice a week and I guess I will do laundry we plan to landscape so there is very little grass as we are both allergic to it and wont be mowing it. I will do the mopping I guess since I cant have carpet due to my allergies and he and I will both share the cooking as we both like to play in the kitchen. I will be the handy man because I am better at it than he is but he will be the financial keeper as that is where his strengths lie. I will keep our social calender as I am more outgoing and he will take care of the car maintenance schedule as I have ADD and cant remember crap for nothing. I will clean my bath room and he will clean his. I am picky about my toilet and so is he. We will let the cleaning lady take care of the joint shower and sauna room. We have to scrub each others backs you know. He will clean his own bedroom and I will clean mine. We plan on separate bedrooms as then sex will be something we have to think about and ask for.

I dont have a same sex marriage but I can tell you what my husband and I do. We both work f/t and have two kids.
I am the only one who cooks (thank goodness!) and I also am the one that does the laundry. I am generally the cleaner.
My husband vaccuums, does the dishes, and fixes stuff (or atleast TRYS to)

As the dominant one in the relationship, I expected to be waited on, never do laundry or dishes. lol... Boy did the femmes teach me!
I'm still not much of a cook but I can make a mean breakfast. I always did the dishes after dinner.
My ex cooked the dinners. But as far as chores we basically split them, or did them together.
I was ALWAYS on garbage duty. (She wouldnt budge on that). Now that i'm single, it's the microwave for me!

This depends on your family organization
I know a f/f couple where one assumes the masculine role and the other the female role and both are wonderful people.

Whenever I'm dating in a relationship with a woman, we take turns with everything. Though I'm hoping that my next girlfriend can cook because I can only microwave.

I usually do the "inside" house hold chores while my partner does the outside. I don't cook just because she is so much better at it than I.

we basically do whatever we're good at. my wife is a chef, so she cooks most of the time (eventhough I do when she's busy) and i'm good with my hands and love gardening, so, i do that
