Do you get turned off by people who ask to "listen" to other people's problems instead of seeking real answers? Do you? And why?

the biggest part of my life's work is listening to other peoples problems and being there for them. i find it very rewarding. i do not get paid for this at all i do it because maybe i can make some one else's life a little better
